This Incident proves that the Al-Zarrar (Our 4th Best Tank) can withstand DAAIED (Direction Anti-Armour IED) numerous RPG rounds, and 6 suicide attacks. There was no single penetration, the main gun is also in fireable state and all the crew survived. Chill we have the upper hand in Armour!

I was replying to lamayuru, she thinks that a tank whcih can take like 3 RPG-7 shots with suicide attacks plus an IED & still no penetration is a junk tank & only Pakistanis say that its good...

I know who you were replying to. It survived an initial DAAIED, 3 RPG-7V round and then 6 Suicide Attacks. And was still recovered. Nice!

In urban combat tanks are very vulnerable, even the top most tanks of the world Abrams & Israeli Merkava took some devastating blows in urban combat situations in Iraq & Lebanon.

If such latest protective tanks can be hit, then Al Zarrar did well enough compared to them.

In Lebanon war Hezbollah claimed 40 Merkava Mk-III being destroyed though most of them, were recovered but it shows how hard it is to use tanks in Urban/Guriella warfare. This Al-Zarrar was more than worth its money!
PS: Does anyone feel like that this New AZ look like the M-1s or is it just me ?

He used the Kornet, Konkurs and Metis apart from the RPG-29 though some people say that the HJ-8 were also used.
