Pakistan and UAE Relationship

They are our friends and we must not expect anything from them. I dont think they will support us in crucial time as they are more economic opportunist. They gave free entry to europeans, americans, and few other countries yet they are charging us over 150 usd for entry which is unfair and shows their biases. Similarly same services for salaries are paid very less to our people with same level of knowledge and skills to whites.

Contrary to hateful wishes of local Iranians, they supported Pakistan in crucial time and Pakistan helped them their build ups.

People of UAE are most generous & kind. They respect Pakistanis very much. UAE helped us a lot in developing our tribal areas. My family have been living in UAE since 25 years, for us UAE is our second home. Hope our relationship with UAE gets more stronger in future.

sometimes you can forget they are even there ..

Yemenis are easiest to get along.

yes and Qataris are nice people lets just not talk about kuwaitis but i found Emiraties are best among all of Arab you can include jordan egypt sudan tunisia, They are more educated and their future planing is better than any of them.

@wiqi21 great thread bro. We need to find our friends and well-wishers especially among our Muslim brother countries. Unfortunately now it has become a trend to bash each other on ethnic and parochial basis while our enemies are already trying to put a wedge between us. UAE has indeed been a good friend of Pakistan and though currently India has been trying to create misunderstanding between us through some idiot politicians but the people UAE are our brothers

We had good felationship with UAE...but currently it seems we are going through a rough patch, esp after yemen war.... UAE was a strategic partner of Pak, but now its siding with India... Our relations with KSA, seem to be normal now, after yemen fiaco..but there still seems trouble between Pak and UAE

We need to fix our relationship with GCC before its too late...They have been our traditional allies, can't allow Indians to create misunderstanding and confusion b/w us...

Indians are trying hard to turn our allies away from us...We need to hold ground with firmness...

True... I also think, we should have been more proactive, and tried to mend ties, with UAE more aggressively, after yemen fiasco... I think we did tht to an extent, regd KSA... There have been many visits to KSA after tht...Gen Raheel also visited...but UAE still seems to be a trouble spot..... I think Pak did right by agreeing to become part of tht 34 country military alliance, which is mostly on paper right now...but thankGod Pak did not repeat the mistake of yemen fiasco, by publicly refusing it......
As there were rumors, tht Gen Raheel was offered to head tht military alliance, after his retirement....if its true... Gen Raheel MUST accept tht... He can negotiate a better deal for Pak.....plus it will be a brilliant strategy to counter Indian influence, in GCC.. It will have all the advantages, tht Pak might have got from participating in yemen war, but without committing troops, and without being controversial.. He will be in an influential posituon, to lobby for Pak, in GCC...... I so hope he accepts tht

I live in Middle East Asia .... I work in one & have traveled to others ..... I have heard & seen a lot kind gesture from people to people ... (also some not so good gestures) ...

but the Title is misleading .... it is an opinion of a Person it people to people relation ...... The actual UAE - Pakistan relation is on all time low (& more so due to UAE's arrogance and Pakistan taking a moral and better stand #IYKWIM) !

Well im happy and in this situation we are getting what india dreams when its a sleep and remember they are doing business with india and we are not doing business with them as much as they are bottom line i love PAKISTAN -UAE Relation despite the situation we are still going strong

I am not against UAE ... i also will love a great Pak-UAE relationship .. i was just stating the fact tht the OP is not an example of representation of Pak-UAE (Govt or Strategic Relationship) but more so people to people relationship !

& i have my self seen even better words AND Action from people in Saudia or Oman or Bahrain or UAE towards Pakistanis !
