What's new

Pakistan all set to become a CERN member in June.

not killing Indians will be a good start for europeans?
now dont derail this thread.... this is about CERN and pakistan... :(

Yes its about CERN and Pakistan...and not India.

Back to CERN. The LHC is currently in stand by and is upgraded. They plan to make the system even more powerful. That the Higgs-Boson could be proved last year was such a enormous discovery, that the LHC already made its enormous costs worth it.

The "god particle" is the particle that creates gravity. Its very theoretical at the moment, but if we learn to understand this force it could lead us to create negative gravity and even faster than light travel. It can also create gravity and erase the negative effects of long time zero G environement in space.

. . . .
looks like we saved 11million $
but i guess you dont know that we havent applied for that...........the embarrassment has more to do with failure of govt.

btw congrats for achieving this feat b4 India(as this is the thing that matters)
I really am embarrassed. We really need to stop trying to compete against India on everything. It was clear from the beginning that India didn't even apply for CERN membership, so "beating India" has little to no meaning, because they weren't even in the race to begin with.

We need to say "Pakistan set to become CERN member with pride", instead of "Pakistan set to become CERN member before India".

exactly sir
same problem with India.....

we were like we are sending a probe to mars b4 china
as if sending the probe to mars is more important than sending it b4 china :undecided:

Good for Pakistan. :pakistan:

India is an Observer state (since July 1st, 2003) like Japan, USA, Turkey and Russia.

.
they might be non muslims but its not upto people on earth to judge who is a muslim and who isnt especially when one is claiming to be a muslim
The 1st Thing About Being Muslim Is You Belive Allah is creater of every thing Hes the Only almighty One And Holy Prophet is the Last Prophet ( Peace.Be.Upon.Him) the person who miss any part of this is Not Muslim these are the basics which every muslims has to follow no matter which kind of Muslim he is bad or good You dont need to be a rocket scientist
Now Being a Muslim state Every one No matter which religion he follows should be treated as same

Even the first sentence of the report has India mentioned .
Pakistan is going to become an Associate Member of European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) before India.

What competition ?? India has not even applied to be a member state in CERN .

.
As I have posted earlier, India is an Observer State. According to CERN, the status of Observer State/organisation is given to those countries or organisations for which membership is either not possible or not yet feasible. “Observer” status allows non-member states to attend council meetings and to receive council documents, without taking part in the decision-making procedures of the organization. And we got this status in 2003.

But Pakistan is going to become an Associate member, and then in due course will become full member. This will benefit Pakistan immensely. So, Congratulations !!

It's the opinion of a single person only .

India has not even applied for being a member state at CERN .
Grapes r sour......:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

India applies for CERN associate membership
India set to become Associate Member of CERN

As if that wasnt enough they r now going to build their own version of it because Pak is ahead of them and they cant swallow it.

India set to build lab bigger than Cern

 If u dont know abt something please dont take the trouble of writing yr post.

`Embarrassing if Pakistan beats India to CERN membership`

This news is of zeenews quoting one of their leading scientist bikash sinha who is comparing us with them not the other way around.
India applies for CERN associate membership
India set to become Associate Member of CERN
India set to build lab bigger than Cern

and here is the news that says they have applied even before then ours..........

Here is a word of advice; do a little research before writing something as extra ordinary as this.

Pakistan did the same in 2008, but nothing came of it.

Pakistan had to reapply, but India has refused to do so thus far.

CERN | Pakistan set to become a member.

Besides, even if it IS true, are you so insecure about by India that you HAVE to beat them? Do something for yourself, not because your rival is doing it too. Your behavior is that of a child who only cries over a toy because he sees another child playing with it.
