good going!:) any chances of ToT and local production?

i dont see how pakistan can afford J-20s when it is relying on US aid to buy F-16s

Ok now dum dum lets wake you back up to reailty real quick.... there is no aid or aid money when we buy f-16's get that through your troll beated head if you cant talk out of real knowledge then just keep your mouth shut rather then showing off your hatered.

Old news. We are gonna get 36+36 and we all are aware of it. Also in wrong section. We are NOT gonna get until 2015, so wrong title too.

. .
J-20 will cost around 75 million per unit, two or three squadrons isn't a problem even for the present Pakistan, not mentioning the Pakistan in 2020.

Depends on a few factors. Will China export the J20? Will the for sale price be 75 mil? I'm assuming that's the price China gets it. And finally 3 squadrons is completely unaffordable for the current Pakistan

. . .
So are we going to get just j-10 or J-10b?

J-10B:

Thats why paf ordered used f-16, not "cheap" chinese cookie cutters!

first of all, PAF ordered f-16s in late 80s, but because of the sub continent nuclear crisis US unilaterally stopped the order, thats why PAF was looking for alternitive, and they started F-17.

when PAF started recieving F-17s US sees losing the market, so they restarted the postponed F-16 orders.

so to sum up a cheap shot from u, next time try better kid:wave:

j-17, j- 10, j-10b and j-20 are cheap alternative for pakistan.. for quality products u have to pay premium..simple!!!

.
In my point of view J-10B is designed for export to Pakistan on PAF requirements.

Wow, a little bit of good news about Pakistan and our neighbors go wild. How do some people bring up the same false points over and over again. We paid for our f-16s, with our money. We are obviously getting j-10b or we would have bought the original model already since it has been in production for a while now. Its also completely irrelevant if Pakistan can afford these planes...economies are dynamic, they dont grow forever, nor do they stay in the doldrums forever. More importantly, in a strategic relationship, the Chinese are more than willing to finance our short term needs, be it the submarines or the aircraft, so as much as it makes sense for someone to think Pakistan cant afford anything...it doesnt really work, because in reality, we have an ally that has way too much to gain by keeping India preoccupied by us.

.
If we seriously get those above 50. We will be good for some time.
