"Prior to the Federal Cabinet of Pakistan Ministry of Defense said that as the insufficient number of submarines and ships, the Pakistani military is facing a "serious military imbalance", so I hope the Chinese submarine procurement deal by the face of "the growing threat. " Pakistan has a total of five active-duty diesel-powered submarines, and three small submarines, of which 3 SSK-class submarines from Germany, while two recently introduced in France, "Agosta"class submarines. AIP seeking technical advice in Islamabad and New Delhi in the competition, which is planned for 2013 for its legal system "Scorpene"class submarines equipped with AIP systems.

Pakistan official documents show that the Pakistani Army plans to buy six of China AIP conventional submarines, must be able to "tropical climatic conditions in the multi-threat environment,"effective implementation of various tasks, and also with the torpedo and missile launch capabilities. Pakistani Army will soon be trading with China Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. signed a joint development of international co-production of submarines and draft the relevant agreement. Pakistan hopes of which four submarines built in China, the other two were built in Pakistan.

Can you please translate that for us. I prefer that instaed of going for 28 more F-16s and 36 J10s, PAF should just go for 72-100 J10s.

nothing need translate, just 36 j10 and 6 subs

.
Pakistan is also looking for 6 subs with ability to operate under heavy enemy presence in tropical waters, and capable of firing torpedoes and guided missiles.

The 36 J-10 deal will cost about 1.4 billion USD, (38.9 million each). Pakistan also looking to joint produce more JF-17.
I think the J-10 deal don't cover any technology transfer. But the jf-17 has full tech transfer.

So that means the actual price per plane is even lower. And maybe first batch of 36 planes is all pakistan needed because they would have know hows to build them afterwards.

.
IMHO the first batch of 36 J-10s is just the initial order. Seeing how the J-10B has been developed and reports on how Pakistan has been involved in it I believe that the PAF would definitely go for a much larger fleet than just the 36 aircrafts.

. . . .
Lets hope the Pakistanis soon buy it so that that stupid GoI would wake up and finalise the MRCA deal.

. .
also i can be possible cuz a J 10 costs around 25 mil $ as speculated .a jump of near 10 mil$ can mean a new designe and all but in the same price an AESA?
