Once we have JF17s in strength, we should look into raising dedicated wild weasel sqns. Working in tandem with UAV/UCAVs, they can employ well known IAF/USAF tactics to neutralize the SAM (Bekaa valley 82, Desert Storm 91, Balkans 99) . Furthermore CCS and EW range guys should work out to develop local solutions.

You and I have heard stories of Indian deals many times and real worth of these stories. When S-400 lands in India we shall see what it can and can not do. Till then, Pakistan doesn't have a thing to worry about.

I didn't want to answer this thread, but here you are: For every S400, there will be an effective package for whomever is planning to engage with the targets of interest. Indian S400 pursuit shows its correct vulnerability assessment of VPs and command nodes to Pakistani precision LAM and MRBM attack capability. The Green Pine/Arrow and S400 shall be used as ABM defence, not as a denial weapon for Pakistani Air Space. The more formidable system PAF would need to engage is the Israeli Spyder, which is procured to render the low level attack useless. Anyway, regardless of the the capability of S400, the number of rounds in any Russian ADMS are not infinite. This is the key in engaging well covered targets and well integrated ADGE. It has been done before, and it will be done again, if any adversary has to engage with capable systems such as S300 series PMU1/2/ upgrades such as 400.

1 - Assume India has S-400 by 2017
2 - There is a war between India and Pakistan (God Forbid) in 2017
the only thing being missed by OP and PDF members in this thread is China which has a considerable investment in Pakistan and to protect its investment will have to side with Pakistan in case of war. If you minus China from this whole scenario, PAF is neutralized hypothetically.
