Pakistan, Afghanistan deploy tanks as fencing dispute escalates

.
Reasons why the fence is being built
1)To stop smuggling
2)To stop undocumented flow of people
3)To stop drug trade
4)To stop flow of arms

Afghanistan will also benifit from all of the above

Absolutely. However, thus far the Afghans/Indian/Americans are resisting the idea. Tough luck to them. We are going to do it anyway.

I would prefer if the Afghanis just back off and dont get in harms way its good for their country of these tanks remain intact and their soldiers battle ready so they can fight their local insurgents instead of us

Neither do we want a war. Afghanistan shouldn't be making this an ego battle. A war will only make an already weak ANA more weak. Even a border skirmish. Nobody wants war nor death.

We just want border which has agreed upon rule based checked visa entry points. We can even have a relaxed policy of travelling between the countries but as long as it's checked. Its not illegal unauthorized travel which more often thabbnot leads to terrorism, drugs, weapons and crime not too mention burden on economy. I think nobody wants a complete closed border where nobody can travel towards each other but everybody wants a checked system in place so that we can combat a flow of terrorism and all the horrors that come from there.

The fence stands there with a trench and Afghans come through a process to reach pakistan.

Well for Afghanis they are letting their internal politics cloud their judgements but i am sure Afghani leaders will in the end do the right thing and help us in fencing of border

Putar, I'm a Pakistani Pashtun so don't lecture me about who you held talks with. LOL @ he has talked with Pakistani Pashtun. Like as if this stupid Indian is talking at some official capacity level.

Now you are hearing it directly from a Pakistani Pashtun, we don't care about Afghan Pashtun. We are building this fence for a reason. Nothing will change that fact anymore. Don't cry now.

LOL dalkhor is only a term used by a dirty Afghan. Stop lying. Pakistani Pashtun never cuss their own countrymen.

Why are you quoting.. Obviously UE is a troll trying to rile people up. Most probably either afghan or Indian in nature. His very comment in this thread was so senseless and childish that it didn't even deserve an answer.

If the Afghans are sincere in curbing all problems they will help Pakistan.

I wish I had your faith. I have no hopes from them and their commanding military officers who have escalated this ...

harijan, i have talked with pakistani Pustuns aswell. and they are not going to kill their blood brothers for dalkhores .(in teir own words)

What have you been smoking lately ?

Pakistani Pashtun are the second largest represented ethnicity in government offices , army , ISI , Sport teams etc etc . They are one of the most integrated ethnicities in Pakistan .

Hashish smoking afghan army was spanked badly by the Pakistani pashtun tribesmen during the 60's .That's why I keep on saying no need to deploy army , police or FC when our normal folk are enough for these bacha baaz army men

Exactly....we are wasting our time and energies, no need to deploy our regular troops, our local militia can handle them. Don't know when our leadership come in their senses....:hitwall:

Sharafat ka zamana hi nh raha bhai ab to.......ungli pakrao to hath pakar lete hain log ab....

It is our humbleness that we want to take Afghans in confidence. They will be in serious trouble if they take us for granted or weak/lazy.

Border will be fenced, no matter what.

But no force should change our policies. If they want to use force or try to use force to push the issue, we need to continue the fencing under proper security. Any aggression should not be taken lightly, and just to be on the safe side we should have the area under CCTV coverage so there is no issues later about who fired the first shot.
Do our work, have a heavy contingent of forces near by, and keep the process well documented . But any aggression and use excessive force, so that no misadventures are thought of again.

.
There you go, we are in complete agreement on this. :)
It is only going to open when the fencing has been completely carried out and no Afghan militant can enter our territory. Also, expect very tough measures from now on. You aren't entering our country that easily anymore.

All right sir, will do :)
