Pakistan, Afghan envoys in US trade barbs at Washington moot

 You don't need diplomats to talk to them but trolls. Afghani ambassador sound like low brow afghani trolls on social media and forums.

Pakistan and USA doesn't get along while Afghanis in government receive paychecks directly from Washington. Looking at current situation I don't think Pakistan will gain anything but going down to sold out Afghanis level.

Quite frankly the afghan diplomat started screaming blames and acted quite childishly and can the afghan diplomat or junkie or whatever the hell passes for an official in that god forsaken country prove that a third of pakistan economy is from global heroin trade and on top of it human smuggling. Can they show numbers bcz we can show detailed numbers about how the afghan economy does not even exist and their entire country and military runs on AID and they go begging left right and center for support and money and how heroin is a huge factor in afghan economy.

Did they seriously hire this junkie? It seems things are so bad in afghanistan that they are hiring from the streets. Well considering how kabul is being bombed everyday, i would guess there would be a massive dearth of literals in afghanistan.

Shameless.

@pakistani342 if given the choice i would trade afghanistan for india. I would much rather have india on our western border than afghanistan bcz atleast with india there is some semblance of sense or honor. With afghanistan there is only stupidity, madness and war.

True, there is no such a thing as Afghan economy. It's GDP is stuck at $20 billion for 5 years now and will remain there for next 5 years or who knows how many. Afghanistan own tax revenues are $196 million. You can't run anything with this money and they know it. Afghani elite are not interested in peace and USA to pull out.

Hey man that's what I've been saying for years [despite being labelled a RAW/CIA/Mossad agent] -- wait who-the-fcuk-am-i but this is exactly what sane minds have been stating.

Pakistan's interests lie to the East given how toxic Afghans are.

If instead of Afghan say Pakistan had Turks to its east -- you could pretty much seal the border with India -- hold a couple of cultural exchanges per year and made sure the IWT upheld -- and applied for accession to the Turkish state, however that's not the the lot Pakistan received.

Given that the Afghans are they way they are -- for Pakistan to grow it has to isolate itself from Afghanistan and you know what -- now there is talk of a complete fencing of the border and expulsion of the refugees -- [shameless plug: that how I started my conversation on this forum 5-6 years ago]

Now if only the Pakistan Mil can let ties minimally-normalize with India -- like trade, education -- the benefits that Pakistan could reap would be enormous. A growth rate of 7% would double Pakistan's economy in 10 years.

Further still -- Pakistan should seek a more holistic cultural integration with China -- produce a labor force that understands Chinese, can work with Chinese companies, etc. etc.

Pakistan has squandered this opportunity with both the Arab world and the US.

If Afghans want to dwell in the sixth century than so be it -- best of luck to them

India isn't interested in normalising relations. For that to happen Pakistan will have to give up on diplomatic support to Kashmiris who are burning right now. Right now India is blaming indigenous struggle of Kashmiris on Pakistan and normalising relations is last thing in their mind.

.
Talking by an ambassador whose own country is occupied...more than 50% by Talibs rest is USA ...to whom we should talk..Actually we should not talk.....We should simply close all type of relations with such tribal ethno fascist country which is harming us from day 1..
Read the history before zia they were fighting among themselves even before 1947...
50% ??
:woot:

Can you pleas point what 50% is under their control?

They have absolutely no control over their country, NO ON ANY PART OF IT. Even Kabul is being run under US supervision. As for the other villages and cities that government claims to be free from Taliban are just being run by warlords who run the affairs of that state as per their own will. Government have no say control on those places, the only connection here is that those warlords have sided with gov. (FOR NOW)

The statements like "Pakistan army controls everything" and " which Pakistan, the one run by army or gov" are the spoon fed venom by Indians. You can tell by one look at that statement. It have all the complaints that the Indians have with our army and the exact same thing in exact same words is being repeated by Afghans now.

Afghanistan is a lost cause to be honest, the sooner the world and regional powers like Russia and China realize this and intervene the better. Else it will just prove to be a training and recruiting ground for Indian terrorism forces.

I don't think so -- actually as long as the support is limited to Kashmir India as evidenced by Modi's initial outreach would want to normalize the relationship.

I think people beyond India are beginning to realize that Kashmir has established organic bonafides. If Pakistan were smart they would have a PR (hind-pak bhai bhai) blitz -- Kashmir being in its own bubble.

Remember Vajpai came to Pakistan -- it is under his tenure that a very progressive arrangement on Kashmir almost came to pass.

The current hostility between India/Pakistan is to the detriment of both but far more so to Pakistan as it is the smaller and weaker party.

Again this hostility isn't Pakistan doing. This time India want to prove look terrorists are coming from other side. Its not 1965 or 1999 anymore.

Pakistan want normal relations but by not giving up claim on Kashmir. India isn't interested in that kind of relations and neither we are.

That Kashmiri arrangment would have failed because dictator was doing everything without consulting Kashmiris first. And they don't anything less then complete azadi from oppresive hindu raj. Though weather they will join Pakistan is yet to see.

It's envy and jealousy. They want what we have & what we have achieved. All these Afghans that curse & bad mouth Pakistan all want to come and live here. A nation where everyone is ultra lazy or a drug addict will never amount to anything.

.
If these dumbass Afghans hate Pakistan so much, why do they come to Pakistan to seek jobs, and once they enter Pakistan they dont want to go back to Afghuniland, Afghans are very confused people. Pakistan should seal the border, expel all the afghans back to their opium land, let them suffer no more hospitality for namak haram afghans.

. .
Pakistani envoy is talking so politely.

And Afghan Namak Haram is spewing venom as usual.
What a dissappointment of a country for the world this is Afghanistan.
