In all likelihood the YS refused to sell it. But in 2008 Pakistan did sign a MoU with Turkey to develop an analogous solution, but I'm guessing it didn't get anywhere OR they're still developing it.@Dazzler @Bilal Khan (Quwa) Why Pakistan never tried to get CBU 105 in response to cold start?
48 for PAF.Meaning, 48 total to be built as for now - 24 for China and 24 for Pakistan total - 48
the deal is confirmed by Pakistan side.If there is not any official announcement, It means there is an ongoing tender that negotiations are proceeding and Sides want to strenghten their hands on table with signing Memorandum of understanding with local firms like PAC to get the winner. Something like a media war to collect public support.
This is very interesting that India was given CBU 105s while we cannot get it despite being their ally. If Turkey has come up with a similar weapon it would be very good.In all likelihood the YS refused to sell it. I doubt this news... WLs were first spotted years ago when one crashed in mianwali... n later on google images at a Pak mil airbase.I bet there is a very very big scale tender which contains an extensive technology transfer for Pakistan. Firstly, Turkey’s Havelsan signed an agreement with related officials to take charge of ground control systems and software sections. A very strong counter attack came from China with signing a MoU with PAC to guarantee its licence production promise in this tender. I think Sides started to play their cards to satisfy Pakistani brothers. At least, That is what I see from outside. I wanted to know what Turkey offers brother Pakistan... Anka-S + new powerfull 170hp domestic engine with around 300-350kg payload or Akinci with 1500kg payload. If It is about Pakistan, Turks will always be somewhere around. It is not easy but I think TAI may offer something crazy to get it.
That man is our aerobatic team with no authority to either confirm or deny........48 for PAF.

there are two huge advantage of Wing Loong II that Turkey product cant match:
1. Wing Loong UCAV has been used successfully by many countries in war(Yemen, Iraq, Syria).even Serbia is placing a big order, not to mention Saudi, UAE.
2. the Beidou navigation system is very mature that users dont have to worry the Yankees get rid off GPS in war time.
Nope not confirmed yet. It was on Paf's aerobatic teams FACEBOOK page.......Then, Congrats. I hope it will provide impressive capabilities to erase terrorists...

Check the source. It is a bhindu newspaper indiatoday so it is the 'vedic' logic at its finest.48 drones against s 400 ? Am sorry i dnt get it
Ask bhindus .... it is written somewhere in their veda.Drones and SAM, what is the connection?
I think Turkey and Pakistan are trying to develop the necessary technology. The CBU-105's BLU units have independent guidance system, gliding as well as propulsion (can't remember if it's explosive or a rocket). A lot of complex pieces which can't easily be emulated (lest we'd see alternatives). This is very interesting that India was given CBU 105s while we cannot get it despite being their ally.
