If it were the other way round and Pakistan cancelled the tour to nz, then the ICC would have fined Pakistan for it .... seems fair, right?! If you're a country that is brown, and with so many indiots in ICC, then Pakistan ought to be on their hit list!!

In my view, Pakistan ought drop cricket like a hot potato and focus on athletics, hockey, archery, boxing, squash and soccer. Cricket is sissy game, invented by a bunch of vain buffoons.

I have seen the entourage plus the security provided to the visiting team. They looked quite secure almost mirroring security given to a visiting head of state.

Cancellation of tour is far better than Indian supported terrorists succeeding in carrying out an attack during a match or even worse hurt some player. The later can cause another black out period for another decade. Cancellation is a lesser evil with no damage to reputation.

security threat is probably one of the many reasons..... earlier, ODI series was rendered meaningless.... with no ICC points due to non availability of DRS......now, this happened because BCCI hired all the DRS technicians by paying 4 times more....for IPL....

This is a Security advisory! New Zeland pulled out due to a Security Threat!

The explaination is in the term itself. A Security advisory is issued in general e.g. a Security advisory during Ashura in Muharram etc

A Security Threat is specific e.g. a threat of an attack on a bus station in I-10 Sector of Islamabad in the 3rd week of September 2021.

Moreover, a Security advisory is issued by local Police or other authorities.

A Security Threat on the other hand is "gathered" by local Intelligence agencies so unless New Zealand Intelligence has a "network" in Pakistan more powerful then Pakistan Intelligence agencies.

Somehow New Zealand got hold of a specific Security Threat and didn't share it with Pakistan and just left!

This is stupid and political move by New Zealand.

Have we thought about the fact that this presidential level of security as IK says in the video is also very uncomfortable for the players of a foreign team? Rawalpindi was locked down for NZ team movement, the same happens in Lahore when a foreign team travels. It's less about the level of security and more about the perception. With a locked up city, the perception is not that great. Totally agreed with Khan sb here.
