What's new

Pak may never try another Kargil, but it could get worse

Its also amazing how the words of these eminent Pakistanis are like God's words to some Indians but when eminent Indians like Arundhati Roy speak, she is talking through her behind- according to some Indians

Name one of them.

Do Arundhati Roy has any credibility who see liberation of Goa from foreigners Portuguese in negative sense?

Does Najam Sethi have any credibility when it comes to Pakistan considering the fact that has part banned group that waged guerilla war against Pakistan in Balochistan in the 1970's?

I don't think Najam Sethi supported European imperialism and colonialism like Arundhati Roy when she commented negative about liberation of Goa.

Indians are scared of another kargil or even a showdown like 2002..... even in showdowns around 1000 die and it took em almost an year and a few billion $ just to march upto their border.........

Instead of commenting like an unwise person please construct some good roads and other infrastructure in border areas.

Not one fanboy from pakistan army families here has been able to tell us what were the objectives of the kargil operation and how well were they achieved?

Other than undermining civilian government and taking it over eventually by a person who goes commando (sic) every now and then when convenient? Its obvious all these army boys get directly benefited when that happens so they must keep spinning the idiocy into some kind of victory.

Many Pakistanis say that its main aim was to highlight Kashmir issue. But Kargil's main aim was to cut-off Siachin which was never achieved.

Kargil was a hastily planned operation to take revenge for India had done Siachin when it took the top of the glacier.

Pakistan wanted to do something similar in Kargil and take over the heights overlooking the highway.

Pakistan's failure was it didn't plan things logistically. It didn't dig tunnels to lead them to those heights and nor did it give the troops there adequate cover from artillery, and air strikes.

Pakistan could have won should it had used its full might to cover the troops there.

But we shocked India and I am sure we will continue to do so in the future. :D

Pakistan couldn't have used it's full might as this would lead to all out war which would have been very bad for Pakistan.

So your objective was to take 'revenge' and your achievement was to 'shock' India.

I'll tell what else pakistan achieves regularly, you 'blind' the world with your intelligence too.

Aila...dhamki...

You are right buddy, upto some extent. It was brilliant plan but they didn't think India will go to such intensity. But you guys helped us in making us more vigilant even when peace time is going us. Now India is more vigilant when Pakistan talks of peace.

You never know....:drag:
