Pak-Iran gas pipeline to violate sanctions: US

You have no idea what you are talking about Indian.

Why do you think strong exports leads to an increase in the value of currency? Because if there is higher demand for your exports, there is a higher demand for your currency as well.

That is one reason why the US is accusing China of keeping our currency artificially low.

And I live in Hong Kong btw, no CPC textbooks here.

Then let it float and stop being brainwashed by the CPC. You guys are all talk but will never walk the talk, YAWN again.

Lookit what we have here, someone is trying to be funny

Yes if that is the case, then surely countries elsewhere would wave goodbye to the Yuan as opposed to swapping currencies and allowing it to be used as forms of trade (bypassing the need to first exchange into the dollars).

And someone trying his best to be ignorant. Go on any Chinese website for export companies and you will see all their quotes in USD and euro never in YAWNS

That is not my claim but the truth. Before any internal development, a country should be reasonably secured from internal threats. If Pakistan requested specifically military aid in exchange for a certain relationship, we shall obliged. No different than how China is doing in Africa.

Rest assured Pakistan will get security from China when faced with their internal threats. Surely China will do more to secure mutual sino-Pakistan interests let alone its investments.

Yet the American government constantly refuses to officially label us as currency manipulators.

It seems like a waste of effort calling someone a lap dancer when she is happy to give lap dances. So we call her an artist because she insists on her card that we call her that! But we all know what she does. China US relations are the same.

And worthless. Economists everywhere recognize the signs of such manipulations.

and the world cares more about what economists have to say than the average joe on some forum.

US Treasury says China not manipulating currency | Reuters
This administration. If a Republican get in office, you can be your next YAWN all bets in said YAWN will be off. Like I said, the only thing you have is what a politically motivated decision said to 'prove' that China is not a currency manipulator while economists and monetarists everywhere recognized it.

It is not that difficult to find international news to say what those economists believe: That China is a currency manipulator.

no matter what the internet warrior has to say about this pipeline- the fact is - pakistan won't go ahead with this since US is saying so. so this discussion is meaningless - rest is your choice.

LOL, except George Bush didn't officially label us as currency manipulators either.

And neither did Obama's Administration.

Republicans, Democrats... on this issue the result is always the same. Every single year, the same report comes out from the US Treasury: China is not manipulating its currency.

Do not tell US to 'rest assured' that China will be Pakistan's guarantor of external security. Tell the Pakistanis that and see what happens...

CPC really does a good job on you guys

Pakistan takes $5bn IMF bail-out after allies refuse funds | World news | The Guardian

The IMF confirmed yesterday that Pakistan had sought funds to meet balance of payments difficulties. It is expected to provide $5bn (about £3bn) or more for the coming year, with billions more for subsequent years.

Pakistan's finance minister, Shaukat Tareen, said recently that going to the IMF was his "plan C", but Islamabad has been stung by rebuffs from its closest international partners - China, the US and Saudi Arabia - leaving it with few choices.

You sure about that...

BBC NEWS | Americas | Bush presses China over currency
There were no breakthroughs at talks in Washington, though President Hu Jintao said China would "continue to take steps" to revalue China's currency.
B43 does not need to. And neither does Hu. Both knows.

Heck, if Iranians wanted, they can even sell gas for rocks you pickup along the seaside too!
You don't always have to put a coin in for a token in order to swap it for an item :azn:
