What's new

Pak FM is on diplomatic mission to draw attention to deteriorating situation in Palestine .

He's doing his job as a foreign minister.

His job is not to just talk but get some results as well, and those results are not possible without the military threat or consequences along those lines lurking against Israel. Talks have achieved nothing in the past, this time wont be any different.

He's a foreign minister. His job is diplomacy, and to iterate the Islamic Republic's position on the matter, and to engage other nations diplomatically on the topic.

He's not responsible for anything else. Putting an Armed option on the table is the responsibility of the Armed Forces and the Government. If they do, he will simply reiterate this position.

So far, what he has been doing is exceptional. Try yourself to fly one nation to another, to endless meetings, preparing endless reports and speeches in advance, and arranging meetings all the while engaging organizations on the issue, all in one week. It's a daunting, tiring, fatiguing task. He has done it exceptionally and with heart as a foreign minister.

Whether or not diplomacy produces results on this issue is a different topic. It's the Government's and the Armed force's responsibility to understand stand this and come up with a solution, not the Foreign Minister's.

So, you have a point and your criticism might be valid, but it's directed at the wrong person or entity.

Diplomacy, is not just talking, but laying down the consequence as well if certain things are not done or achieved, and thats on behalf of the state, FO is tasked with. It happens everywhere. At the moment, Qureshi is the only face of Pakistan visible on this issue, Bajwa is not doing his "military diplomacy". So it must be assumed that this path of "raising issue" and "protesting" is all brain child of FM Qureshi. Obviously, this approach is a non starter will achieve nothing. So naturally all criticism will be directed towards Qureshi.

I am not interested in his "Challangain". There are many people I have seen in my professional life who try to look busy for the sake of it but achieve nothing. This has got the same vibes.

He is accompanied by the foreign ministers of Turkey, Palestine and Sudan, according to a statement by the Foreign Office.

Considering that we did not even had an FM in previous government and a non existing Foreign policy, Pakistanis are alien to this concept.

How about all of the above?

Although, all this is a waste of time. Islamaphobic UN and pro-Zionist Arabs and the West will not do anything...

It will take a new "Muslim NATO" made-up of Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, Malaysia + some other non-arabs to free Palestine.

Turkey will quit actual NATO, and join Muslim NATO? Just like they cut their diplomatic, economic and military ties?
Sir science parhni hogi , research karni hogi , weapons banany hongy phir israel bat many ga , but this is a very very lengthy procedure

AND in the meant time, Zionists will support india directly and indirectly, to annihilate Pakistan economically & militarily.

The fighting began after

Not fighting. Its an assault. The language is very important.

So some people saying here what Pakistan doing is useless. If Pakistan was not doing anything, they would have said Pakistan current government is useless.

Much stronger countries than Pakistan in the Muslim world are sitting on fences. Look at the rich Arab monarchies. Rich, resourceful, they cant even issue statement. At least Pakistan is doing what any human being should do seeing his brother in distress.

Another argument is why Pakistan cant do this kind of diplomacy on Kashmir? Palestine is a much more sensitive issue to the Muslim world as it is about sacred land. Also, Arab leaders may not raise voice, but this issue has deep traction in the Arab countries. So if Pakistan today plays its role on Palestine, it creates resonance for Kashmir issue in future.

What non sense!

By the time he will reach UN, Israel would have flattened most of Gaza. While these clowns are talking, Biden have supplied Israel 800 million dollar worth of JDAMs to be dropped on the people of Gaza.

Talks without the proper military buildup, diplomacy without the threat of force lurking behind, are just waste of time, infact this will buy more time to Zionits to keep on bombing the people of Gaza.

No disrespect to our FM at all but the last time I listened to him in one of the current affairs program his answer to the question of “do we see any kinetic (military) response to this time by any Country since time is running out” was something like:

“Dekheiyey yey koi gudda gurya ka khel nahi horaha hey ... aap or mein or humarey saathi muslim mumalik ke sarbarhaan achi tarhan jaantey hein ke is issue ka hal “baat cheet” mein hey ... dekhiyey hum koi aesa qadam jald baazi mein nahi uthayengey jis se humarey or saathi Arab mumalik mein dhooriyan peda hon...humarey khayaal mein is masaley ka hal kinetic response nahi hey”

And I was thinking you should read posts on PDF and probably you will get boost of gherat e Imaani as well as some better ideas ... may be ... or may be not
