This is a wrong analogy. Diplomacy is not an iterative process. It is a continuous one. There is no harm that he did this conference at late hours because it does show that they care. There may be a military solution as part of this but diplomacy needs to be combined with it. It is not an either or as i understand.

It is just dumb. why hold press conference. Let there be element of uncertainty which will fuel anxiety within world power ranks.

Our attitude should be we have made it clear what we think about the Indian move and what we regard Indian government as. We have also make our position clear on the issue and we are willing to talk provided Indian comes to the party and resolve the underlying issue that was created by their move.

With that being clear we should not hold any press conversation. Qurashi is getting excited as if he as a kids has walked into candy shop.

THis issue will not be resolved until Pakistan escalate the matter to point where world has to intervene. We have achieved peanut through diplomacy. Once can escalate the matter by performing certain maneuver without engaging in war.
