PAK-FA is a failed project. They will have to use 4G fighter engines for now.

Don't compare modern Russian aircraft to 60 year old Migs with poor spares and inexperienced pilots.

pilot error and a foreign material going inside of the engine was the causes for those crashes otherwise the SU-30MKI has been good which is why we plan to have 280 of them and are upgrading them

Two of those are from pilot error, and yes SU-30 crashes are nearly unheard of especially ones that result from mechanical malfunctions . I take it that you were not aware that even the F-15 has had over 140 class A crashes, but all is dependant on crashes per flight hours logged, as it turns out the F-15 is very safe per 100,000 hours logged. The F-15 is fielded in large number and F-15 pilots log high hours annually. The F-15 averages 3.6 class a accidents or crashes each year. Now comparing the SU-30 to the F-15 we can see that there are less SU-30 in operation and the SU-30 has not been operational for as long as the F-15 but in the decade plus that the SU-30 has been operational crashes especially mechanical ones have been extremely rare.

Read my other post, there has been over 140 F-15 crashes and a tleast 339 F-16 crashes--these are official US Air Force claims, so realize that Migs are not the only aircraft to crash, and Russia doesn't cover up it's crashes, there has been Russian aircraft that have crashed in rural unpopulated areas with no witnesses but the Russian Air Force still made the news public. Next time try not to fabricate stories.

F15/F16 crashes were due to the long servicing hours over the years, but the pilots usually escaped unharmed. The Mig crashes killed hundreds of pilots. It's not called a flying coffin for nothing.
