Chandigarh, Aug.23 (ANI): Lieutenant General P N Hoon (Retired) said Saturday that India is retaliating much better than before to Pakistan's repeated violations of the November 2003 ceasefire agreement along the Line of Control that separates the two nations.

He also said that plans are in place to give a befitting retaliatory reply to Pakistan should the ceasefire violations continue.

Describing the repeated ceasefire violations by the Pakistan troops as a very serious matter, Lt. Gen.Hoon said, "I can assure you that we are retaliating much better than ever before. We will destroy them if they do not wake up."

He also said, "We must be very strong and cannot allow these Geelanis and Maliks to meet the Pakistani High Commissioner in New Delhi."

"Pakistan should not live in fool's paradise thinking that they have got the atomic bomb, we will never be the first one to use the atomic bomb but if Pakistan uses it, then we will destroy them," Lt. Gen. Hoon added.

Meanwhile, former Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Raj Kadyan (Retired) has said that the increased frequency of ceasefire violations may be because Pakistanwants India to focus on these violations while they infiltrate the border

Lt. Gen. Kadyan said, "There can a be couple of reasons behind this, one reason is that they want India to focus on these violations while they infiltrate the border in other parts and second is that the army wants to increase their acceptance among Pakistani people amidst their internal turmoil."

He also said that the Pakistan Army wants to portray itself as the saviours of nation who stopped India from invading their soil.

Earlier today, a major ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops in the R.S Pura Sector of Jammu led to the death of two civilians and injured a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan. The Pakistani troops reportedly targeted 22 posts of the BSF in the Arnia and R.S Pura sectors of Jammu district, in one of the worst cases of shelling till now.(ANI)

India has a nationalist Government spearheaded by staunch nationalist/patriot.

I don't give a damn about what happens in India. I'm just posting news that India is also violating ceasefire. I normally don't engage with little trolls like you. So don't bother replying back to me.

His Grandson is a damad of Pakistan .

Shahbaz Sharif's daughter got married with grandson | Hamaridunya
Daughter of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s younger brother Shahbaz Sharif, who is presently the Chief Minister of Punjab province of Pakistan, got married with the grandson of Lt General (retd) P N Hoon, a former Indian Army commander.

Lt Gen Hoon is well-known for his anti-Pakistan rhetoric, especially when it comes to commentary on Indo-Pak relations and posturing amid provocations from the other side of the LoC.

He is also believed to be an RSS ideologue. Shahbaz Sharif was made the chief minister of Pakistan’s Punjab province for the fourth time in June this year after his party, the PML-N, swept the general elections that made his elder brother Nawaz Sharif the prime minister of Pakistan.
An impressive marriage ceremony took place during the day on Friday, a day considered auspicious by the Muslims, while a gallant reception was arranged at a swanky five-star hotel in Chandigarh in the evening. The event was a testimony to the recognition and blend of cultures, identities and ideologies sans borders.

Pakistan Punjab province Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s daughter Khabija entered into a wedlock with Lt Gen Hoon’s grandson Kanv Pratap Singh.
Khabija is Sharif’s daughter from his third wife, family sources said. He was not present during any of the ceremonies. For reasons best known to the family, the welcome notice outside the venue read “Somya weds Kanv.” The high profile reception witnessed a host of VVIP’s from the two nations. The list of invitees was carefully crafted and later pruned to make the event a close-knit wedding. Some Punjab MLAs were also present at the marriage.

If sources are to be believed, both the bride and the groom have studied in the US.
After studying in the prestigious Lawrence school in Sanawar in Himachal Pradesh, Kanv completed his MBA from US. Lt Gen Hoon has a plush two-kanal (1000-square yards) bungalow in Panchkula. He has various business interests in the city.
