We have been trying to say ALL this and convince the Pakistani members

Think of the public praise that might be scored to get the Coast Guard some of its lost prestige after 26/11 back.

26/11 was a wake up call for maritime security deficiencies, it lacked simply because no Govt thought about it.
Since then a lot of brainstorming and work has been done to ensure coastal security, though a lot remains yet to be done.
Here is a brief list of what has been done.
Note: All this was done AFTER the 26/11 attacks.

Please note the date of the report, it was roughly 1 month back.
Six years after 26/11 attacks, coastal security 'much stronger,' says government | Deccan Chronicle

1. "At any given time, the entire west coast is under continuous surveillance by ships and aircraft of the Navy and Coast Guard", an official statement released said.

2. Joint Operations Centres (JOCs), set up by the Navy as command and control hubs for coastal security at Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, Kochi and Port Blair are fully operational.

3. In addition to continuous patrolling by Navy and Coast Guard, modern technical measures have also been implemented for coastal surveillance by way of a chain of 74 Automatic Identification System (AIS) receivers for gapless cover along the entire coast.

4. This is complemented by a chain of overlapping 46 coastal radars in coastal areas of our mainland and islands.

5. A second phase of coastal radars is also being implemented to plug the small gaps in some places.

NEW DELHI: In what could have been another attempt to unleash havoc on Indian shores like the 26/11 terror strikes, the Indian Coast Guard intercepted a suspicious Pakistani fishing boat, laden with explosives, in the Arabian Sea in the early hours of January 1.

The four people on board the boat apparently blew themselves up after being chased by the Coast Guard for over an hour and warning shots being fired during the incident.

Defence ministry sources on Friday said the Pakistani fishing boat, on way from Keti Bunder near Karachi, was intercepted by the Coast Guard approximately 365 km from Porbander.

"The Coast Guard warned the boat to stop but it increased speed and tried to run away. After being stopped, the four persons on board the boat blew themselves up. The boat sank at the spot. Search operations are still in progress," said a source.
well done
recover the wreckage if possible to identify the terrorists

That is no explosion, that boat burnt up. and the Boat size means that there is a 50/50 chance of it being registered.
After that coward attack they have come up with this fake story to act innocent

I hope coast guard will keep up the good work and remain vigilant ...expect more such visits from neighbours ....

It was founded way back in 2004 - India's most technically advanced and tech savvy intelligence arm - They are in charge of India's only spy satellite RISAT-2. The agency has significant technological capabilities in aviation and remote sensing, data gathering and processing, cyber security, cryptology systems, strategic hardware and software development and strategic monitoring.
All true but India has more than 1 spy satellite in fact there is a RISAT-1 also, these are the most advanced spy satellites India has as they carry SAR but there are other sensing satellites NRTO have access to also.
