Pak Army moves heavy artillery at border to ‘shock’ Afghanistan

India is egging to move in GB. Moving in Afghanistan will give them a perfect excuse to do just that with the backings they have.

We must not move forward. Shoot on sight Buffer zone and covert ops is enough.
That is a mere dream which will never materialise especially with China right up there! The world will neither support this or allow it.

I doubt China would support Pak boots in Afghanistan either, there's a line that must not be crossed to give India a valid reason that would damage CPEC. No need to create diplomatic difficulties either for our strategic partners to defend us.

China would never push Pak to openly confront NATO and sending in troops means just that. Going in would be walking in a trap!

These are proxy and covert wars. We shouldn't take actions to convert them in to conventional wars. Stay within borders and do what's necessary.

ahhh on what pretenses will india go into GB? (unless you are hinting at something?) there are none for it to go there so thinking up such scenario is beyond me. secondly it will be impossible other than shelling they won't do much. IF war was possible do you really think they would have resorted to creating terrorist in afghanistan? NO.

no one is pushing anyone and I cannot understand where people are getting this notion that we are confronting NATO? NATO is an occupier and not even a fully occupying any part of afghanistan just presence in main cities and that is it.

druggy ana is just smacked out 98% of the time. China borders afghanistan and its in their interest to see isis as a threat as well!!

As my signature says and I have said before I am all for a militia that will hunt indian terrorist in afghanistan, that is the best approach. no one can stop us from doing air strikes either in afghanistan either! not even NATO!

they are deployed to protect the sanctuaries of isis + ttp.

Both Armies will wait out a truce. That's it.

Pakistan will not be a first aggressor . If Afghans are smart, they should have brought media ( if they have any )

Foreign media will be a nightmare situation for pak. Hence the truce.

Truth is, there are more Indian embassies in Afghanistan than indians. I seriously doubt they are giving afghans visas either.

We are well aware of who is pulling the strings.

They probably will use drones for surveillance and if they see something those coordinates would be relayed to the artillery.

You are free to assume anything you like

GB is key to all this. India lays claim to it. If we go ground invasion in Afghanistan or fire missiles, India will get the perfect excuse to do the same. It sets a precedent. The damage that can be done to CPEC route would take years to repair.

No man's land buffer with artillery usage, economic sanctions and covert ops is enough and as far as we should go. Two large stretches of border with enemy states, we shouldn't be pushing for ground invasion of any country unless we are ready to take risk loosing our own land or willing to sustain significant infrastructure damage to CpEC in GB. No point escalating to increase probability of such risks materialising.

Yeah its one of the most illogical thing i hve heard in my life....

India can do 10001 things and we know whats stopping tgem from doing those...

Completely illogical thought

And your logic is to push PA in to Afghanistan and officially declare an invasion of a country? Are we now a powerful country like USA that'll invade weaker countries? Should we be like India?

We can hurt the enemy without a declared invasion. Your desires for invasion is exactly what the enemy wants (& perhaps save your favourite buddy Nawaz in the process too!).

Real enemy is the one controlling the terrorists, their masters. Why not invade those countries as well eh? Or wait, will you now say we shouldn't do that??

Strategy, diplomacy and risk management is not something you should clearly be involved in!

Ever since Russia and China expressed interest that they'll help attain peace in Afghanistan, US and its recent allies have been trembling. The wave of recent attacks is in the retaliation. US and its allies have counted days left in Afghanistan before they'll pu$$y out and look for face-saving exit. Same has been happening in Syria. We got to wipe out TTP from the face of earth. TTP is already at the verge of total destruction hence ISIS and Daesh are trying to aid TTP. No matter what happens, when Russia and China intervene in Afghanistan US and its allies will go crying to their moms. We'll have pro Pakistan regime in Afghanistan. China is OK with it. Russia is OK with it. India can go cry to US when it happens. India has come in to make sure US stays but it won't be the case. Losers are running with their dirty pants left behind.

@Mrc Let em ask you this. We fire a few missiles in Afghanistan saying we are killing Ts. The whole world gets to know and we don't get condemned for it.

Soon after, India fires a few missiles in GB hitting vital roads and bridges (although no deaths) and claim they attacked Ts. World doesn't condemn either.

What shall Pakistan respond with!? Fire missiles in India next? And what would that lead to!?

When you have a warmong crazy enemy, you have to take measured steps.

NATO and India always blamed us for harbouring Ts, does that give them justification to attack us by boots on ground, air etc? No. They've resorted to proxy wars and covert ops. We should do the same.

We gave NATO permission, under duress, to carry out drone attacks. If we can force Afghan government to give us permission, then by all means pound the hell out of the hideouts.

Close the border indefinitely and hurt the Afghans until they give explicit permissions for us to butcher the Ts. Slap economic sanctions, hard and brutally.

I would disagree with you. Your solution allows both the countries bleed, bleed and bleed. Where would that lead us to? Our economy is not that strong to carry out a two front bleeding game (east and west). We need to secure one front immediately so we can focus on the eastern side.
We bomb India too if they do anything like that specially around GB. China will back us and might mobilize its forces as well. With CPEC, GB will be protected not only by Pakistan but by China as well. India can try it if it wishes for a two front war. Bare in mind, Russia won't support India this time around and you know what would happen when India is fighting 2 front war.
