Pak Army is aghast at the defamatory and uncalled for statement about the senior leadership of Pakistan Army by Chairman PTI: ISPR

It is great that IK has staked his position firmly. The problem I see is his endgame. Where does he see this approach leading towards?
Hopefully to bringing the Army back under constitutional control.

Turning it back from a mafia to a professional fighting force, ready to liberate Kashmir.

Neutrals are feeling the heat, this time they are facing someone so strong that they haven't even imagined or dreamt of or came across s in their 70 years of political engineering.

They never condemned Nawaz, Maryam, Zardari, or any other political person before even though the mentioned people have done much worse.

It will take a little bit more than just strong statements to achieve that noble goal, I suspect.

Pak Army is aghast at the defamatory and uncalled for statement about the senior leadership of Pakistan Army by Chairman PTI during a political rally at Faisalabad.

Regrettably, an attempt has been made to discredit and undermine senior leadership of Pakistan Army at a time when the institute is laying lives for the security and safety of the people of Pakistan every day.

Senior politicians trying to stir controversies on appointment of COAS of Pakistan Army, the procedure for which is well defined in the constitution, is most unfortunate and disappointing.

Senior leadership of Army has decades long impeccable meritorious service to prove its patriotic and professional credentials beyond any doubt.

Politicizing the senior leadership of Pakistan Army and scandalizing the process of selection of COAS is neither in the interest of the state of Pakistan nor of the institution. Pakistan Army reiterates its commitment to uphold the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

The ISPR further stated that senior politicians trying to stir “controversies” on the appointment of the military’s chief of army staff (COAS) is “most unfortunate and disappointing”.

It added that the procedure for COAS’s appointment is well-defined in the Constitution.

“Senior leadership of the army has decades-long impeccable meritorious service to prove its patriotic and professional credentials beyond any doubt,” the ISPR said, adding that politicising the senior leadership of the institution and scandalising the process of COAS’s selection is neither in the interest of the state of Pakistan nor of the institution.

“Pakistan Army reiterates its commitment to uphold the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,” the military’s media wing said.

Do you worship the military? Can they not do any wrong, they are men after all?

Only God is free of criticism. So worship Him alone.

Convert to Islam.

Abbotabad raid, salala raid, drone attacks on fellow citizens, losing siachen, surrendering in east pakistan are some the most professional and impeccable acts of merit these generals bestowed upon pakistan.

The belief is that this won’t end with General Bajwa, and that the current policies of repression, abductions, torture and frivolous legal cases against the PTI and crackdown on any pro-PTI media will continue with the next Chief of Violation of the Constitution aka Chief of Army Staff.

IK is laying the ground for continuing the narrative of a corrupt and politicized Army leadership IF the Army leadership does not stop violating the constitution and interfering in civilian affairs.

I think it has already been firmly established that the Army leadership is corrupt and politicized, without a doubt. It is also equally clear to me that it will never agree to abide by the Constitution and stop interfering in civilian affairs of its own volition.

Hope the Pakistani people are up for the challenge.

You may be hoping for too much, I fear.

Lagey raho Khan saab....I guess one day, IK would look at Nawaz and see his own reflection, the way he is going down that rabbit hole of lust for power...

That's why it needs to be forced back to its constitutional duties, by the people of Pakistan.

It is not lust for power but a genuine desire to change the country for the better and improve the lot of the poor… and become independent and not a poodle of any other country…

Really hope that for the betterment of this country they start hiring professional “Communication Specialist” ,if not for the post of DG, atleast among the ranks of said department in order to avoid such mess and do a better job of PR than a hack job as this.
Looks like it’s that time of the month again for someone
