So if someone has crossed the threshold of puberty and has never been introduced to Islam, it is incumbent upon him to reach the conclusion that this world MUST be created by a God and that God MUST be One. There can't be more than One God.

Children are born without religion---the only claim they have is that of their ethnic / tribal or national group and nothing else---.

Exactly but you will see people are using his job or service to put down the Muslim by comparing his work with come Muslims..I mean how come you start comparing an military uniformed person with a civilian for serving on the boarder. This is the job of the soldiers, they sign up for it willingly and also get paid for that so why bring religion (or lack of religion for that matter).. If he did, he did for his country and thousands of soldiers are doing so and I want to rather know the details of his work since frankly as per details in OP I don't any thing substantial or beyond the call of the duty..well if you are part of army, you will serve at whatever position and place you have been deployed whether it is COIN operations or guarding LOC.. Did he even got injured let alone die for the nation...so first of all..it must established for which specific task he has been decorated? or he is being awarded for being an "atheist" ...I really don't think that is such an achievement

It is in the genes---we are genetically inbred to stand up---take arms and fight for our nation---. It is in our DNA---

Because there is the baseline of being born a Muslim and then on top of that a complete Muslim is built in accordance with the teachings of Islam. If saying Azan in the ear was fundamental, then a non-Muslim who converts should have Azan recited in the ear. In reality there is no such practice taught by Islam.

When you were born---you had no religion---just like any other child---.

Sir respectfully, I would like to add to your knowledge that according to the Holy Prophet (ﷺ)'s saying all children are born on the nature i.e. Islam since Islam is the way of the nature. However parents, environment and society influence the faith of the child as he or she grows into believing other stuff. However when one finds the truth and embraces Islam, it is often referred to as "reverted" to Islam instead of converted.

That means if a child is allowed to grow without any influences from the parents or society, they will grow with the core set of fundamental teachings of Islam, i.e. there is only one God ..he or she may not know the proper word for it but the belief will be there....similarly he or she will believe in preserving nature, covering him or herself up with whatever available..
