the paf pilot must be doing so out of ignorance. must listen to lecture by shiekh hamza yusuf. also posted a link fromm bbc as majority of us are obsessed with anything "white" and "english"

Yea, it has become a sort of fashion in Pakistan and most people do it out of ignorance.

Unless the devil is summoned or immediately adds us on facebook- these symbols are out of ignorance. Many of these symbols end up in common sign language as well; but then the shiekh clearly has a lot of free time on his shiekhy mind to spend an hour on this and not on the variety of more serious and physically damaging issues plaguing the muslim world.
