It is an F-15C.....not one of the latest ones. Plus flying them operationally on exchange postings is very different compared to having a ride in the backseat. Interesting to see that it is the OC of the F-15 squadron that took him for a ride. I'm sure the Group Captain must have enjoyed the experience of two F-16 engines as opposed to the one he normally flies or flew....the F-15 and F-16 operate the same engine.

I wasn't actually talking about religious fellas in Pakistan. I was just saying all Pakistanis generally suffer from delusion that if we practice Deen we will win wars with Eman and Jazba and good equipment and better training aren't part of winning wars. Where as Allah ko raazi karna, jazba, good training, and good equipment, are all essential.

I am not against religious fellas but I hate Deobandis and Wahhabis and Ahle Hadith. They are the fitna in entire Ummah and destruction of it. Trust me, when I say I was part of both these sects, and thanks to Allah I am out of their madness. Now I am Sunni aka Barelwi and not regular Joe Barelwi. I am doing my bit for education of Muslims and creating awareness against Deobandis and Wahhabis. Their Maulvis have insulted Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi was'sallam) in such fashion that Shaytan Rushdie would be ashamed that he didn't learn from them.

One is suppose to guide the other and their is a balance that is needed guided by the common adage "Josh say nahi, hosh say" in the military. If you are disciplined about your spiritual wellbeing, then everything that you take to in the temporal world would push you to excel. This is the idea behind using religious motivation. It can work quite effectively as a force multiplier.
Iqbal very aptly said, "Shamsheer o sanaa awwal, tawoos o rubab aakhir."

The idea being that the profession that one chooses, one must excel in it. Equipment is an aspect of aiding you to do your job better, but the drive, the motivation that one brings which in turn leads to excelling far exceeds anything that equipment can provide for.

A very simple example for those who run, you can have the best joggers/running shoes, however until and unless you bring the drive and motivation to stay the distance, the shoes are useless to you. Technology/equipment is like the shoe. Human history is filled with examples of militaries not being able to maximize the most out of the technology at their disposal due to limited training or practice or not being motivated enough. All tied together. We have examples of this in the context of the sub-continent as well.

Training for excellence in one's profession is guided by focus in life which spirituality/religion provide. These come first and foremost, followed by the pleasures of the life. My two bits...but in the wrong thread!

Those aircraft are already high hours, with cracks in their empennage and generally have the RCS of a barn door

hahaha....
I agree.. future is all about RCS.... that's why I would be a strong advocate to buy Chinese fc 31/ fc20 till the time own solution is ready.... we should be getting into f 31 now

Did not realized that the F15 is such a big bird
But the Muslim forces are supposed to be lean and thin!!! Like the way a Muslim is supposed to lead his life - without extra baggage!!!! Extra baggage means being bogged down with taking care of it and being worried to keep it up and running, and, thus, losing the big picture!!!!!

Different pilots make different kind of hand gestures to salute the audience..
LOL. Yeah, the Wolf! :D

It's wrong and its ethno-nationalist/fascist. I don't care how deep our friendship goes-Pakistan a mosaic of cultures and languages. We shouldn't endorse this kind of supremacist attitude which over the past decades certain Turkish nationalist groups have unfortunately normalized in their country.

Typical Wahabo-Deobandi bullshit. The way I see it, it's your kind that is minority. EVERYWHERE.
Muslims are by definition to be a minority!!!! Islam came as stranger, and shall return as a stranger....

Why would he make that hand gesture? its a fascist salute among turkish nationalists
Yes, it's wrong to use such explicit hand gestures!!! Anyway, with all their follies the Turkish nationalists aren't exactly fascists - they are a reaction to the ultra-secularist turned militant communists/leftists under the cloak of Kemalists to do away with all the Turkish traditions and religious beliefs/faiths so that they can turn the Turkish folks into infidels!!! At least the Turkish nationalists are standing upright against FETO (Fethullah Terrorist Org with allegiance and loyalty to the countries across the Atlantic and South of Turkey) this time!!!

Interesting, how a "pleasing to eyes" topic turned into wahabi/deobandi/shia cat fight.
And, the Turkish nationalists...

LOL. Yeah, the Wolf! :D
Why's it a matter to laugh???? Do you know how seriously some folks take this "wolf" thing???? They wake up in the morning with the "wolf howling" set as an alarm. And, they greet each other by hitting heads the way wolves do....
