Why would you bring India into this? india in the meantime produced as many SU30 MKI including engines. The MKI is more indigenously produced than the thunder and has more indian parts than the thunder has Pakistani. You do not want to bring India into threads related to thunder. If you cant control the itch, thread will get derailed.

I could not fathom the same reason as to why they brought India into this picture, It just does not make any sense. You see this is purely related to the production of aircraft in their own country, but no they have to mention India as a moral booster don't they. Then when we question that intent, we get flogged as trollers!

So, I urge the Pakistani members to stick to the agenda of limiting responses to Pakistan only don't drag India for no reason.

4 may be the one handed over forming the first flight for no 14 sqn and renaming 14 or so of the sqn will.be handed over December /Jan 2017 and may be still completing function test flights just guessing

We really should have 4 Factories , 1 in each province to be honest because this is just issue of man power

Engineers at Kamra have one fantastic effort till now and certainly their presence has to expand
4 factories so that they could continues to meet local demand and then foreign demand

Sir, per my info, they stopped building more factories and facilities as the machinery will be much different for the future stealth fighter that the PAF wants to start to work on (the JF-18?). So the have allocated areas, and will continue construction. But additional facilities will become manufacturing plants when the 5th gen manufacturing facility makes it to Pakistan and can be installed.

So right now, their goal is to turn block I to block II, and all block II's to block III's and produce new block III's for the remainder of 180 jets. That is a huge step as initially, the block I and may be II were slated to produce 250 numbers. But now, you've taken a quantum leap within this program by introducing a block III and majority will be block III's (180). Thanks

These 25-30 years will be enough to develop next generation aircrafts. PAC will have enough time and resources to install new machinery and train new human resource. Obviously the Thunder is not the full stop. Sky is the limit.

Should be 250 jf17 with 78 f16 and another 4.5 generation jet such as j10c j16 or eu all jf17 must be epuiped with AESA and BVRAAM and afvanced targeting pod for specialised strike squadrons wr cant upgrad f16 with aesa as trump wont allow it 60 of 3rd type 4.5th generation which should be superrior to jf17 in all aspects rang payload avionics etc

It's time we started working on the jf18 , a twin engine tactical bomber with stealth capabilities instead of gloating about the jf17.
