What's new

Over 1600 Pakistanis residing in Raipur, many issued Aadhaar cards.

Sleeper cells...!!:hitwall:
Or just people going back to live or visit their families? Remember, the Pakistan-India split caused a lot of families to split apart as well.

Instead of automatically regarding every single person of the opposite nationality as suspicious, there needs to be a better way to handle these situations.

I remember when I went back to Pakistan a long time ago, a few members of our family came from India, but were forced to go back before a cousin's wedding, because Pakistan wouldn't renew the visitation visas for them.

Once the visa is issued you know long you are allowed to stay and if you want to stay longer then you have to get your visa extended,if one dosnt do that and stays illegally ,on top of that you get the forged documents, thats defenetly going to create suspicion.

The case where a pakistani women gave birth to a baby in Indian and the couple could not go back in time to Pakistan, those are genuine case where authorities should be working overtime to get their paperwork completed without any problems to the couple not for someone who forges documents.
I guess because of some peoples acts some other genuine people have to pay the price.

I know there are lots of Muslims in Karachi and Sindh whose ancestors came from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, or Nagpur in Maharashtra, and for sure there must be those from Raipur, now in Chattisgarh.

It is also possible some of these Pakistani nationals are hindu Pakistanis visiting relatives there.(Sindhi Hindus)

The problem is once your country uses terror as a state weapon, then its hard to do business with that country and its ppl.

.
I'm from Raipur and mostly are Sindhi Hindu and number is way higher than 1600 .In c.g.sindhi population is almost 20-30% in many cities .specially Raipur,Dhamtari,Bilaspur.
