Nawaz Sharif was utizlied against BeNazir in 90s....Imran Khan was utilized agaisnt the rest since 2011. NAB was established to persecute politicians and it has done splendidly well till to date.
'Innocent unless proven guilty'. That's the core esseance of moderN legal structure. No legal system in the entire world can allow any accused to have detained behind bars and ask victim to provide evidence.....
But this is Pakistan and to my Knowledge Imran Khan used this a weapon through the hands of Justice (R) Javed Iqbal whom orgasmic conversation with a lady was nationally televised on each channel...and he opened 92% cases against opposition from 2018 onwards....This is our history.

After recent changes in NAB laws, accused can only be detained for 14 days. Before that almost entire opposition leaders were sent behinds for 3 months on weak fabricated political cases which prosecution failed miserably to defend in courts. So you should be thankful for recent NAB ammendments. Cheers.

I realize now that your earlier positions came out of a place of long term respect for the institution and a hope that what was occurring was an aberration and the institution would self correct.

I appreciate how you have been calling a spade a spade now that the Army’s actions are becoming increasingly indefensible.

The Army as an institution might still self correct (we all hope it does since the country needs a strong disciplined military given the security challenges it faces), but time is running out quickly.

I say it's already all over for the company. The perception is never coming back. And that will hurt them in there every future adventures (whether genuine or not).

It's an eyewash.

The situation couldn't be controlled. Supreme Court has asked Khan to request his workers to calm down. It means they didn't realize what could go wrong.

If I was at the helm of the affairs, I could have handled the situation much better.

Let Imran Khan rule the country for an year.. he can't do jack to reverse the inflation, and will lose all the popularity in just one year... and then the people who are controlling the whole Pakistan at the moment can sell their narrative that see we told you..

There is no way Pakistan can avoid the economic disaster whatever you do!
