Now this is good news : While many Turks did not notice all RWSs(Remote Weapon Station) placed on our Cobras were Rafael(Israel) made , even though Aselsan made RWSs for naval platforms for some reason Aselsan never made for land vehicles but now thanks to Otokar this need will be solved.

Now this is good news : While many Turks did not notice all RWSs(Remote Weapon Station) placed on our Cobras were Rafael(Israel) made ones , even though Aselsan made RWSs for naval platforms for some reason they never made some for land vehicles but now thanks to Otokar this need will be solved.

The Problem was Turkey fights very long Time against PKK and we need a Assault Rifle & Light machine Gun that can fire too under Water.

I mean example ,FNSS Pars and Otokar Arma existing since along time ,and the Army don´t buy it.

It is known that FNSS is also going to unveil new 35 tonnes IFV chassis as a base for Aselsan's SPAAG turrets. Otokar is one step ahead of FNSS at present. Competition between them will be really serious in IDEF 2013.

Development of mentioned Aselsan SPAAG turret is almost completed.

In my Opinion they will Upgrade all ACV-300 to Anti-Air and will offer as new IFV something like from BAE Systems/Nurol = FNSS to the Turkish Armed Forces.

TULPAR and ALTAY Chassis and many other properties are the same.

This has said "Serdar Görgüç" (Otokar General Manager).

TULPAR is the IFV that will work together with ALTAY MBT.
