Ordeal of a Pakistani on foreign soil with his green passport

.
Is that all you say emotional ? It is us Pakistanis giving alot of bad names to the world, am I wrong or correct? Whose responsible? Faisal Shahzad? Relax and chill. Just analyse how to improve our country.

Thank you, AzadPakistan2009

talk about urself first

just yesterday, u were the one who called BCB "terrorist" which can turn many Bangaladeshies on pdf against Pakistan.
I even mentioned in ur thread that u r creating a bad image of Pakistan by giving BCB bad names and, today u r telling us, Pakistanies give bad names to the world.

u must concentrate on urself first and then give others lecture how they r distorting image of Pakistan.

^^Lol, Roybot.

Anyway, I didn't expect the responses by you or follow other people's copy/paste response, Pakistan tend to use emotional first than thinking, I posted new article of April 2 2012, why were everyone gone crazy? Sorry, I didn't know there is already original thread discussions.

Good night man!

Close this thread!

How about instead of showing righteous indignation at this post we shake our heads in sorrow over how a few bad eggs give the rest of us a bad name.

There is something about the way I look, I get stopped every time by immigration, police. So what its their problem and their short coming. I've braved a few nincompoop immigration officers, question for 6 hours in one case. But I always go. A few days back I had to go to one of the Arab spring countries for an office trip and people were like "Don't go, how will you get an entry into western countries", but I went and then I went other places too.

Saying "boo hoo I don't want to be Pakistani" is a ridiculous attitude and all it can do is bum people out. Be proud to be a Pakistani and act maturely as well, thats how change will come, not by this ridiculous attitude that this kid has shown.

Raptor why are you acting like some identity crisis child? I live in the US and rarely do I ever experience any negative sentiment towards me because I am of "Pakistani" origin. I have told people I'm originally from Pakistan if anything that makes them more interested in me. Then they ask how many languages can I speak, etc.

So I don't know why you're getting all bent out of shape for. You live in Canada a country that has a more favorable view of Muslims. Yet you keep acting as if being Pakistani is bad in the west and people won't like you because of it. You do make a valid point that some Pakistanis tarnish the image of Pakistan but then there are people in every nationality that do that as well. As far as Pakistan's global image that largely is impacted by the international media.

So stop acting all paranoid, also that article/story is such low quality. Pakistani passport can get you to travel it isn't going to always draw attention, this is where paranoia comes in.

Your taking these isolated cases and overestimating them.

Author is not even real Pakistani because he drinks beer shows credibility of Express Tribune propoganda

. .
As I said Express Tribune cannot be trusted giving some good news about Pakistan shame to them always showing propoganda.... WebMaster should ban Express Tribune links we've had enough

.
I was pulled out for this "random" security check as well in LA. But I hadn't shaved for like 2 months, so I get their paranoia.

Still not sure if I was "randomly" checked for being a terrorist or a drug mule:lol:

Surely a terrorist.. A drug mule suspect's search is even more timetaking..:D

It was after OBL raid, you joined recently July 2011. I came here to support Pakistan all the way since 2009, you are a bit silly!

You are jumping to the quick conclusion, newbies are welcomed! :cheesy:

Like i have told you before...# of posts is not proportional to higher knowledge . Not only me but several members agree here how anti Pakistani your remarks are.

Your aim on these forums is to spill stupidity then the war-mongers come here like zombies trying their best to put common Pakistani people in same light as terrorists. Its all taken to a new level of desperation that instead of feeling bad from insults, one just takes pity on likes of you and your buds here.

No matter how early or late I join these forums, I'm a 100% better Pakistani than you who lives in a foreign country too ashamed to put on his real colors instead looks up dirt on own country all day. Now even your real identity is in question .You must be a really shameless Pakistani if you really are one. :)

To the Indian folks getting all excited here due to the nature of the topic. Common western public, esp American, doesn't relate Pakistan to terrorists (Mainly because deep politics and geography isn't really important here). Sorry to burst your bubble. However, they do relate Indians to smelly, curry, IT people who 'took their jobs' but I think that's a cute racist joke :)

. . . .
Shite happens. My mom recounted the story of when she was traveling in Europe in the 1970s at the height of the Cold War and because she had an Indian passport - it was thoroughly checked everywhere while Pakistani tourists were not subjected to the same scrutiny. On the other hand, when she went to Berlin - the East German cops returned the Indian passport promptly while every other passport was thoroughly scrutinized.

I have personally witnessed a sea-change in the way Indian passport holders are treated. It can still be pretty shabby but in some countries, they are genuinely delighted to have Indians.
