Opposition extends support to PML-N govt for Musharraf’s trial

Following Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s speech in the National Assembly, the Opposition in the low house extended its support to government for its decision to try former president Pervez Musharraf for treason under Article 6 of Constitution.

“Pervez Musharraf is accountable before the Constitution. Those who termed the Constitution mere a piece of paper should be rejected,” PPP’s senior leader and Leader of the Opposition in NA Khorshid Shah said while addressing the house.
Shah demanded that even pictures of dictators should be removed for the Parliament House and other state buildings.
“This is the first step we are taking for the future,” he said.
Following Shah’s speech, PTI’s Shah Mehmood Qureshi addressed that house and assured his support to the ruling quarters.
“Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf has always upheld the Constitution, we will therefore support the law and constitution for the continuity of democracy in Pakistan,” Qureshi affirmed. NNI

All are saving their seats to stay in government for 5 years. But it was a very bad decision by Nawaz. It will make much trouble because 700 people names are on the list who were with the Musharraf during that issue. In more depth, it was executed because Nawaz did not allow Musharaf plane to land. Also CJ is being much personal. He will be going in November, before that he is pushing Nawaz to do it as he has helped him many times to escape and did not open cases on him. Lets see what will be the result. But it is clear that if the the trail is executed then Nawaz will lose the government. He did this 2 time by fighting with the army and this time again. Oh so we have a self proclaiming "self righteous" person here now Great! we have a history of such examples 1) Operation gibraltar leading to Indo-Pak war of 1965 2) Appointment of Gen Tikka Khan as ML administrator in East Pakistan led to Bangladesh 3)Mushi's adventure led to Kargil conflict. If we consider this an act of army (rather than individuals) then yes the "self righteous" army has harmed more to our country than corrupt politicians because at least they didn't break the country and waged wars with others for nothing.

I keep hearing this useless rant about how powerful musharaf is, yes he is very powerful and he is willing to take the current army leadership with him and that is his main defence that current army leadership was aware and in consultation with him when he made the coup...some bold sher he is, hamari to lugi hey sub ke lugwaoon ga...this is the men you are trying to defend!!
