Opinionated - Does Pakistan Matter?

Soviets have a 5.3 million man military. They have 1 million plus forces in the European theater.
The strength of Soviet forces in Afghanistan are 130,000. I will let you figure out how it bankrupts the USSR

Pakistan was under military dictatorship during most of the cold war. I will let you figure out the priorities

You really are an bloody fool.
I am going to leave you to your stupid fantasies.

Go and troll someone else.

Indians really do have IQ issues … their ability correctly analyze and apply them selves is a constant issue

.
It seems the only side that keeps winning is the side that is supported by PAKISTAN.
Russia won WW2, but paid a heavy price.
Same goes with Pakistan. Thousands and thousands of Pakistanis got killed. Industry got almost destroyed.

And here we are again, ready for repeating the same.

.
A lot of twisting perspectives but winners tend to win something e.g. become high income country, eliminate poverty, great advancements in technology etc. What has Pakistan got to show for its one dozen 'wins'

.
Pakistan matters to Pakistanis. To non-Pakistanis, it doesn't.
There're a couple of exceptions though, especially, for the top strategists...

Do you think it's that "easy" to kill human beings for the sake of cows????

.
I support Pakistan but winning normally brings rewards and things to show for it.

You're beating at the shadows....

Accepting the truth isn't that easy! Even Hazret-i Isa (PBUH) could manage only a couple of disciples after a life-long preaching, and even they failed to show up when he was at the direst moment in his life...

I was going to like your post, but your comment of repeating the same mistakes is very unfair.

You deal with life by what's thrown at you, most of the time, you don't get to pick and choose.
And, people, especially Pakistanis themselves are extremely unfair, because at one end, they say Pakistan is weak and poor, at the other end, they bestow it with some kind of God like powers. That is just not right.

Yes, Pakistan did pay a heavy price, but Pakistan did not tell them to start the cold war, Pakistan did not tell the Soviets to invade Afghanistan, Pakistan did not tell them to discover nuclear weapons, Pakistan did not tell the Indians to explode a nuclear device, and the list goes on.

Pakistan had to deal with those issues whether you like it or not. In the cold war, all countries had to pick a side, there was no way out, even India picked a side, the Soviets, but tried its best to keep the West happy, and the West did not want to lose India fully to the Soviets, so they played along.

Pakistan did things because it had no choice, issues were thrust at us and we had to deal with them the best we could, taking into account our own resources and capabilities, which weren't much, considering which, I think we have done extremely well.
Yes we paid a price, but that's life, tough decisions sometimes involved paying a price. Other nations have also paid a price, please get over it.

We have a lot of things to show for it.
Please clarify which aspects you want me to highlight, and I shall.

You think the Russians will call a press conference and fess up to planning to blow up your nuclear research facility? The Russians were loathed to contend with China as an equal. Did you know that Stalin made Mao wait four weeks in a dacha in Moscow before agreeing to meet him? A power play to make sure Mao knew who was boss...
I don't know the truth, we may never do. Everything is hypothetical.

I am a history fan, I collected over 1 Terabyte e-books. I searched my hard drive, found
  • The conversation between Kissinger and Premier Zhou Enlai
  • The conversation between Alexei Kosygin (Алексей Николаевич Косыгин) and Premier Zhou Enlai in Sept 11, 1969.

Please pay attention, those materials come from soviet declassified achieve, for you and other reference. Everyone can have their own judgement.

I never said you are right nor wrong, what I am saying it's a one-sided story.

France went into complete occupation of Germany. Still there. Germany went into complete and brutal occupation. Still there, in fact ready to repeat the same mistake. Yogoslavia never went into occupation, but extinct now. Moghal India went to occupation, extinct now. Many more such examples.
When people are not connected, when leaders are not sincere, every dicision becomes an effort. Every correction becomes an effort. Such nations are always in danger, and some like that way.

in many ways we are lucky india is loaded with so many idiots... imagine if indians were good as Chinese Pakistan wouldnt be around.
Pakistan has it's own fair share of such things, much worse than India in this regard, so it's in bad taste to make such statements
