Operation against terrorists affected by India: Gen Raheel

What a silly logic, India border ceasefire is harming Army ops against terrorists. I mean US must be laughing
Its simple common sense if more resources are needed at border LOC (Bcz of Indian Army actions) then resources will have to be diverted from somewhere (in this case operation against Taliban) ... I also see this statement by Gen.Raheel as a veiled threat to India ,which is that it was and is (unfortunately) Pakistan's biggest threat and top priority and his institution can go to any length to respond to that threat. Its a smart move to outflank Indian Army albeit off the battlefield. A great General is not someone who fills the battlefield with blood but one who prevails without shedding a drop of any blood. If Indian guns turn silent (we'll hav to see coming few weeks) then He would hav achieved his aim.

Rangers involvement affect PA operations? Are Rangers anywhr related to non border related issues?
Damn. Pakistan think everyone is there to be fooled.

The engagement on the border is between two paramilitaries the rangers and the BSF. How is the army involved on either side?
The mortar lobbing used to be a routine thing in the past. Why this has become an issue to be raised with US?

Logic and sense is in short supply there. Just to propagate a lie they go to any extent - even making goof ups along. Sartaj aziz asking why they should attack any terrorist organisation that isn't anti is one more of their goof up.

Ohh. Got it. COAS is indirectly asking for more aid in name of lack of resources. Kool.

Why would the US or India be bothered with your army op when your army isn't attacking anti US or anti India terrorist groups?.

Doesnt matter the title. Point is, Pakistab dont learn. They did da biggest blunder of our regional history by letting western powers unvolved in this region. Now too they briefing US about regional issues. Blunders still in making.

india is a usa long term ally.
going to them complaining about india will get you people nothing.
usa will give you no support over india.
you are on your own even the europeans and arabs wont back you over india.

the biggest issue is india knows that they now have serious clout in usa europe and even middleeast and no one will back the Pakistanis.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Raheel Sharif said Pakistan's operation against terrorists in the country's tribal region was affected by Indian troops' continuous violation of ceasefire at the Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary (WB), said a report published by BBC Urdu.

An official in Washington told BBC Urdu, on condition of anonymity, that during his first visit to the United States, the army chief had said that heavy firing by Indian troops along the border and statements issued by their leaders were affecting Pakistan's campaign in fighting against extremism.

Gen Raheel told US officials that Pakistan has deployed 140,000 troops on its Western borders after getting assurance that there would be peace with India on its Eastern borders which did not happen.

However, there was no word on Gen Raheel's statement by the US, but experts often say that the US now avoids interfering in India-Pakistan matters.

Frequency of ceasefire violation along the LoC and working boundary has increased during the past several weeks. Pakistan has also established diplomatic channels to communicate with India over the issue. More than 19 people have lost their lives on both sides as a result of the cross-border conflict.

Gen Raheel was expected to meet US congressmen on Wednesday (today) where he would brief them on the ongoing operation Zarb-i-Azb in North Waziristan. Issues related to US-Pakistan long-term strategic partnership post-withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan would also be discussed during the meeting.

Observers say that Gen Raheel could present Zarb-i-Azb as an example, based on which he will demand continuation of military aid to the country.

According to recently released figures by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), more than 1,200 militants have been killed and 200 militants hideouts have been destroyed during the operation.

The military has also claimed the wiping out of Haqqani Network and the East Turkistan Movement from the region, the report said.

Can you give an estimate of resources you deployed before border spats and after it? then we look at the threat and go to facts. I a sure your general had facts and he just didnt say it.

Pakistanis seem desperate these days.
Desperate to get international help to persuade India to talk
Desperate to get USA arms for free
Desperate to stop India barrage of artillary fire on loc
There nuclear threats seem shallow these days
No one is listening
