On behalf of Professionals & Businessmen,

Sir, I am sending you some facts ..

Please Try to Understand These:

We are not doing Tax '"Chori"' ... this is Tax saving (a bit of evading too) .

This is to ensure security of our family, kids and their future for any adversity.

1. We bought Generators/Inverter/UPS to my houses .. because Govt. failed to provide constant Electricity

2. We installed Water Motors / Submersible Pumps .. because Govt. Failed to provide Water

3. We hired own security Guards .. because Govt. Failed to provide Security

4. We made Public / Private Schools.. because Govt failed to provide Good Education

5. Hospitals to avail proper care and treatment .. because Govt. Failed to provide Good Hospitals ..

We headed for Private- The Govt Ministers and Elites go abroad for every treatment.

6. We bought

Cars because Govt. failed to Provide good Transportation

Finally..,

What the Tax Payer gets in Return at the retirement, when he needs most to survive ??

Nothing ,

no social security.

But instead all his life his hard earned income resource is used by Government to distribute subsidies and free distribution in the name of welfare schemes among masses to buy "free votes" to those who dont pay any taxes.

Above all what govt do with our (tax) money?

Open courts-which do not give judgement

Open police station-which work's for politicians

Open hospital which do not treat us

Build roads in which 40-100% corruption

Endless list


Like Western developed Countries if Pak Government could provide all the above

Why would anyone Save Taxes ????

We All know that the Major Tax revenue of Taxes are consumed by Government Officials and Politicians ( Billions of Dollars

are lying in foreign Banks) .

A manufacturer works at a margin of between 2% to 10% , whereas government needs 30% of his income to cover it's expenditures. How fair it is all ??

That's the reason no one wants to pay

Taxes .

We save Taxes for our Necessities ,
for our own old age ,
for our safety ,
security
and
this phenomenon is the sign of failure of a Government of the State in discharging it's own functions fairly and efficiently.

Government is alone is responsible for this.

Much of that lament is true, but nobody likes to pay taxes, not even in the West. But it is the system that makes everything work for most of its constituents. It is not a simple transactional deal, where taxes paid need to equal the services provided, for everyone. The richer pay more than their fair share so that the poor get more social services. It all balances out when everyone benefits from a stable and thriving society.

Govt reply to open letter

dont ask for full medical coverage, education, security and transportation while paying only fraction of taxes. We give you some broken schools, some half functioning hospitals, a police that might provide you security 1% of the time because that what you are paying for. Dont expect to get a litter of milk when you hand Rs. 10 to a milkman.

The main problem is not there is not enough money. The problem is that the revenue collected is spent on debt servicing and defense to the point that that very little is left for social services and development. And of that little which is left, most is gobbled up by corruption, incompetence and mismanagement.

If the government or our leaders had even an iota of concern for the public, then all the issues mentioned in the open letter would not have been a concern.

After creation of Pakistan, the people who grabbed land and properties by illegal means and fake claims gradually started building empires and treating their workers as slaves.

These all fake landlords started to enter politics in the after Ayub's era and what we see now is the result of families with a history or corruption embedded in their genes. This isn't only the sharif's or zardaris or Maliks or chaudary's. but these families only came in the limelight, where the remaining corrupt landlords remain hidden.

To eradicate this embedded corruption, the only way forward is severe accountability across the board and to educate the masses so that the public doesn't support such fakes to ever to come in power.

Sir who is going to hold whom accountable when 'aik hammam main sab hi nangay'?

I have heard allegations that people like Iftikhar Chaudhry also take bribes, except the bribes are in billions of rupees and provided in a very roundabout manner.

I have heard there is much corruption in the armed forces.

The only option left is a 'French Revolution' style coupe by the public. But in the long run, that would still replace corruption with corruption.

What we need is piety, God fearliness, and a proper Islamic system. Otherwise these problems will only keep increasing.
