My native tongue is Malayalam.

All governmental institutions use English as the language of communication. India's problem with it's bureaucracy is in no way connected to English.

English is better suited as it is a neutral language that is the Diplomatic, scientific and commercial lingua franca.

Let the government popularise Hindi if it wants.
