What's new

One of the Chinese skyscraper started shaking. People evacuated.

Why do bridges keep collapsing in India?

In 2017, the Union road transport and highways minister conducted another extensive survey, claiming at the end of it that 140 bridges on the national highways were on the verge of collapse.

LMAO 140!?

Incidents of major bridge collapses in India

Here is the list of incidents of bridge/flyover collapse across India:
  • 21 July 2001: Kadalundi River rail bridge in Kadalundi - 57 killed
  • 10 September 2002: Rafiganj rail bridge in Rafiganj - 130 killed
  • 29 October 2005: Veligonda Railway Bridge in Railway bridge - 114 killed
  • December 2006: Pedestrian bridge Bhagalpur in - 30 killed
  • 9 September 2007: Flyover bridge Punjagutta in Hyderabad - 20 killed
  • 1 Oct 2008: Under-construction flyover in Lucknow - 6 Killed
  • 25 December 2009: Kota Chambal Bridge Kota in Rajasthan - 9 killed - 45 missing
  • May 25, 2012: Pauri Garwal, Uttarakhand - Under construction Bridge - 6 killed
  • June 10, 2014: Flyover in Surat - 3 Killed
  • Aug 25 2015: Flyover in Nawada - 4 killed
  • 31 March 2016: Vivekananda Flyover Bridge Kolkata - 27 killed, 80+ injured
  • 2 August 2016: Savitri River Bridge, Maharashtra - 28 killed
  • 18 May 2017: Sanvordem River Bridge, Curchorem, Goa 2 killed, 30 missing
  • May 16, 2018 : Under-construction flyover in Varanasi - 18 Killed

OMG

I see the list starting from 2001 which is 1/3rd of What China lost in 5 years. China leads here like China leads everywhere such as falling of rockets on civil area etc.

.
one out of a million sky skrapers in China shakes and all indians are goin' like...

You need to bring citation regarding how many bridge collapse in China, in the first place.
You said there are 5 structure collapse in China during last 5 year; meanwhile in India:

178 Indian bridges have collapsed just in last 10 years. Buildings are even worse than Chinese ones. And the Indian buildings are much less impressive or ambitious. Besides tall buildings are made to move you stupid propagandist from BJP. Controlled movement is good. Maybe you're too stupid to understand this. Taipei 101 is designed to move as well.

India 10 storey building could collapse and you have maybe 1% of taller buildings China has built. So 1% the number of failure is expected but Indian failure is higher overall than China's failures yet only has a small number compared to China's. The rate of failure is highest in India first than other places.

This is a fail jai hindi bindi propaganda. Good building in China moves because of earth pressures like design and it doesn't collapse but shown like it's a problem. Buildings designed for this in earthquake prone areas.

Says Chini engineering is bad despite this being example of lateral force engineering.

Look how many Indians collapse and this is just recorded ones. China has only a few but thousands more impressive structures and difficult structures than India. Yet India fails when it is not even doing something hard.

The Indian collapses have so many deaths the wiki page doesn't record it.

One Chinese Shanghai building collapsed because earth working on next door site put too much mound on the surface creating pressure on ground voids and the construction site was still in working progress rather than completed. Indians talk and celebrate it like everything in China is like that. They pick 0.0001% example as if it is the most common. Meanwhile India fails so hard yet no one talks or cares about it until they try these nasty propaganda tactics.

Chinese building collapsed during covid crisis due to overcapacity and lack of authority decision based on engineers. Bridges that are many centuries old suffer some partial failures. India entire buildings collapse regularly and only the very highest profile ones ever make it into western record. Chinese ones a bridge has 1m section fail and it is recorded. Every small negative thing is recorded. India has much much more.

Chinese structures are always impressive before they start shaking.

Chinese structures are always impressive before yhey starts dhaking.

Sure and all the tens of thousands are fine and this building moving didn't collapse because it is designed to move like all high floor structures. They all move with wind even during regular days. The delta between top and bottom surveyed points can be up to +/-50mm depending on structure and height.
Indian engineering always impress everyone. Hmmm but so far it has shown nothing.
Actually no point wasting time to correct and educate garbage. Garbage always has time to talk and make stupid noise while those who are busy with work (China) spends less time talking garbage and educating garbage people.

Just let you kinds continue hating and spreading false information. It has clearly been very good for India.

Alright, instead 5 it is 37 then your obligation to bring citation needed to support your claim will become harder :D

And what if I provide the necessary references. Will you shut up your BS and leave this discussion?
