I also have no doubt that the overwhelming majority of American women, despite some of those bad consequences, would still never, ever want to live as a women in more traditional societies such as the three mentioned. Don't delude yourself, one just need to take a walk in the street in both countries. India even has advertisement against eve-teasing. Many of such eve-teasing acts is constituted as molest in many countries.

Divorce can be for many reasons, but just violence. In the US, women can file a report if the husband demand sex, violent is not a precondition to report. And if there's violent, the husband will go to prison. India?

Yeah husband demanding sex is a crime in your bizarre twilight zone reality. All it points to is the lack of common sense in US law if that is the case. If American and Chinese women are reporting their husbands for demanding sex and divorcing them for sex then really men in US and China need to take a second look at themselves. They are in need of some serious help.

Funnily enough, women and men in India overwhelming choose to go the traditional route even when given a choice to opt out. This includes Indians in USA who generally fly back to India to marry.

1. lolzz at your denial comment. We Pakistanis have allowed posting of such news realities against Pakistan on our own forums. NO denial.

Indian govt is not known "efficiency" or pro-activeness unless the problem becomes very serious one. There are no eve-teasing problems in US and CHina, hence, no campaign. Just ask anyone who has been to these countries.

The wife has an equal right to say no. Such is the rights and protection women have in the US that women in Asia don't, china included.
The very fact that you can't even distinguish the difference, shows the indian mentality towards women rights is far lower.

Not always the case, we know how Indian judicial system works. Even if he is prosecuted, it's NOT under sex assault, just domestic violence. The penalty is much lighter.
