One of my forrefathers did yes, but having fought for the British Army that was the least given to them. In actual fact he was (grandfather) the only one who did come, his cousins and brothers stayed home. He in the end also went back and spent his last 15 years helping the less able to make ends meet.

Strange that you didn't got a visa. I am staying here in Bradford for some months and have some friends of Pakistani origin who has visited India.

Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad in his own life fought hard against Vallabhai Patel for Muslim rights in India, and even he became disillusioned.

Go read history from 1920-1945, muslim exploitation by Hindus, displacement of Muslim from prime property, deaths due to cow slaughter, riots, violence existed. Google Pirpur Report 1938 [not very different from Sachar commission] when Congress first time started to rule from 37-39. It all started when British wary of Muslims gave official positions to Hindus, post 1860. Delhi is one example how British slowly brought Hindus to revenue collection and other important govt. positions and pushed muslims to the sidelines who once administered.

In 1948, 40% of govt. jobs in Hyderabad Deccan was occupied by Muslims now its not even 1%. Post-handover riots were orchestrated thruout Deccan State killing thousands of Muslims, was that also Pakistan's fault?


How long will Indian Muslims continue to same rona whenever Hindu ravage, displace Muslims, occupy their property, push them in segregated areas, that its Pakistan's fault?Whenever they achieve their interests like removing Muslims from their property all the riots and violence fades away.
