No of Muslims in India around 200 million. No Muslims died of religious violence in last 15 years are around 50 in number.
Now in Pakistan Muslims numbers to 210 million. No of Shias killed starting from 2012 is around 1500. That too I have data till 2016. Now I haven't considered the no of Sufi's and the Ahmadis.

One of my forrefathers did yes, but having fought for the British Army that was the least given to them. In actual fact he was (grandfather) the only one who did come, his cousins and brothers stayed home. He in the end also went back and spent his last 15 years helping the less able to make ends meet.
Yes I agree with the better life stuff.
As for being a Muslim in India being better than Pakistan, I have to disagree, bar the South and North East, being Muslim is now difficult.
