Being good in maths means little to nothing. I am good in math. Most Viets are good in math. Chinese are good in math. So Japanese, Koreans and many others. But those asian people are too stupid in critical thinking, they lack in innovation, in invention. Real things that matter in real life.

With regards to innovation, it is also a mysterious fact that without the magic capability of critical thinking, East Asian countries of China, Japan and Korea managed to file a number of international patents which were higher than the rest of the world, combined, in 2019, according to WIPO.

The tiny country of South Korea filed the number of patents which were nearly equal to half of all European countries (East and West) combined (in 2017. 2018 and 2019 and possibly before that). Taiwan was quite similar.

And China alone filed more patents than either US or all European countries combined in 2019

That is a myth to say that Asian lack critical thinking. PISA study say otherwise. On average asian people have better critical thinking compare to the west. I doubt you are a Vietnamese.

I am educated in the East and in the West, I know plus and minus in both education systems. It’s wrong to believe to superior Chinese math then draw conclusion in China superior race. Your people are very quick in racism.

The idea that only white people have critical thinking skills is heavily promoted by white supremacists in the West, especially the Anglo world.

Sure, I am proud of Asian root. I am proud of greatness in Japan, Korea, China. But let’s be realistic. In car making nobody can’t beat Germany. Not cheap parts, but technology dependancy, similar to 5G or soon AI. EU has not mastered the tech to produce batteries by its own yet, after Bosch gave up in 2018. Tesla depends on batteries from China and Japan too.

You have mistaken luxury for technology. Germany excels in diesel engine and diesel engine vehicles, but far behind in many other areas.

It's overrated, western style of teaching does not improve critical thinking. Otherwise they would have done better at answering PISA test. You are quick to call out racism when western teachers often rant about the same thing about their own student lacking critical thinking. Statistics matter not anecdotal.

Most breakthroughs in science and technology were done before early 20th century. East Asians were too late joining in science competition game. There has been no big breakthrough in science for decades in the whole world. The white performed no better than East Asians in this matter.

According to Robert H. Ennis "Critical thinking is the intellectually disciplined process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and/or evaluating information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief and action."

Mathematics is one of the useful tools while doing critical thinking and to come up with correct judgement of the problem or situation. For example, the process of critical thinking may involve quantitative and qualitative data collection, classification, analysis which is one of the field of Mathematics - Statistics.

What do you think, a mathematician solving some problem is not involved in critical thinking?...…

So being good in Mathematics means being better in critical thinking.

Most humans are born to be inquisitive in nature hence their mind process things which they observe, then they analyze, synthesize and evaluate the observation or experience.

By the way "critical thinking" is not something that western people can do and "lowly Asians" cannot do. So please correct your instance, we Asians are as good as westerners and NOT STUPID.

In your statement you said Asians lack in innovations and inventions. I can quote some recent examples to counter your assertion, Chinese quantum communications satellite and creation of artificial sun.
