Guys I live for day I go to my local supermarket - Tesco and I see olive oil, figs, oranges, pistachios, almonds with "Produce of Pakistan". Or cans of aubergines, red peppers etc with "Produce of Pakistan". What satisfaction I would get that my am supporting my fellow brothers, a poor farmer in Pakistan. The possibilities are endless. And let's keep the positive vibe going. We spend lot of our energy on bitching and complaining. Let's a take a break and instead think positive on this thread.
Absolutely. When I was in Pakistan last year I had lovely time in my village. awesome is the word for it. River Indus is within walking distance from us and we would go and have a open b-B-Q. But the thing annoyed me was the garbage people just throw away. This is simple civic responsibility that needs to be drilled in people. I remember growing up in UK getting bombarded with the "Keep Britain Great. Keep Britain Tidy". I am glad PM Imran Khan is making a effort but the people have to modify their behaviour. This is about poverty of mind and about money. Don't tip trash please.
In my village the road that goes through it has those drain lines running along it. Every week I saw the poor PWD workers picking the trash from them. That should not be needed or at least not as regularly as every week.
As a side note I went to Crtete, Greece straight after Pakistan and honestly the differance was not that siginicant. Within 20 years with proper government I could see my district overtaking Crete.
