Official: U.S. Military to Set Up New Training Centers Inside Pakistan

They defeated the Iraqi Insurgents.

As for Afghanistan, in more than 9 years of fighting, they have lost less than 1,000 men, where as we have lost over 5,000 men.....

They are fighting half way across the world while this is our own backyard

Your arguement is just lame and pathetic. US lost around 1000s men in WoT but what about NATO and Afghan army? Didn't they suffer any casualities? I know for a fact Britain have so far lost 250+ soldiers and around 1000s injured. Now what about other european countries who are involved in WoT? I am sure they suffered casualities too.

Here in Pakistan, only one army is fighting the war and in total we have lost 2600-2700 men, inc FC. Get your facts right.

And don't forget, Afghans Talibans don't enjoy the backing Pak Talibans have from numerous countries, hence only 1000 US casualties. TTP & other militant outfits have far better weapons, more money, better intelligence and backings from spy agencies while the talibans in Afghanistan don't even have half of this stuff.

Open your eyes.

Both Taliban groups receive the bulk of their funding from the drug trade.

"Your arguement [sic] is just lame and pathetic."

About 1000 in nine years of war in Afghanistan. Mercenary has it correct and you don't appear to have a grasp on the facts. Your hatred is showing, darlin'...

"Open your eyes."

Open yours. The facts are easily researched.

Another no-nothing fan-boy.

Thanks.:usflag:

His argument is pathetic because he is comparing US casualites with Pakistan's. In Afghanistan, more than one force is fighting WoT; NTO, US & Afghan Army. While in Pakistan, there is only one army, PA that is.

See the difference? Adding up the causalities of NATO, US & Afghan Army in Afghanistan and then comparing it with Pakitan's casualities, makes sense but just comparing US with PA is pathetic, don't you think?

S-2 grandpa, it's not my hatred that is showing...it's you who can't seem to digest truth.

PS: I have noticed, when you start loosing a debate or don't have anything constructive to counter other people's arguement, you always start picking out single lines from people's post to suit your taste and divert attention. Well, that tells me a lot about you......

No, only Talibans in Afghanistan run drugs trade.

Pak Taliban's enjoy a lot of support from foregin countries (do i have to name them?)....why would they resort to drug trades? They claim to have more money than Pak goverment.....i wonder where it comes from? Surely, they don't get all this from drugs trade, do they? Because, if that's the case then how come Talibans in Afghanistan don't have that much? Karzai takes it all away?

I wonder how can any Pakistani oppose such a gift .. the World's best Armed Forces providing the lessons they learnt at the expense of the blood of their soldiers. Even if for some reason one were to expect foul play, what are a hundred odd men gonna do to your country ?

Its not like USA enjoys putting its men where it faces a certain degree of resentment. The special forces training the Pakistani Army are at a risk which was evident in the school bombing. A few more such attacks and the 2012 elections could well turn out to be a different story; wonder how, after all this, USA is considered such a threat by some educated Pakistanis.

some educated Pakistanis.

i hope u r using this term loosely!

that those who can't "do", "teach".

Woody Allen classic i think!

Yeah but dont forget, they trained the Mujahideen in the 80's. American friendship is like a hot meal. Eat as much as you can while its hot, you never know when they turn around.

You don't know history well, do you?

"Yeah but dont forget, they trained the Mujahideen in the 80's."

America, along with France, Britain, the PRC, Saudi Arabia, and others provided the resources and weapons to permit PAKISTAN to train the mujahideen. Where we needed to train anybody, we'd train Pakistani specialists who passed on their knowledge to the mujahideen.

You've got an agenda to deliver. Fine. Better grab an education that exceeds fan-boy knowledge heard in college lunchrooms first.

Thanks.:usflag:

Stealth Bro you rightly said that we need training from them.... ha ha ha
the losers of Afghan & Iraq war trained the Champs...

Sunny

You need to learn how to connect the dots. If thats the case, why does the US taking all the heat for the Iraq/Afghan occupation? I mean come on! There were at least 21 non-US military forces in the Iraq setup. (Iraq Coalition - Non-US Forces in Iraq)

The point is that the US is playing the role of puppet-master.

US and NATO Military (Nato "No action talk only")

why there military casualities in Afghan and Iraq very low as compare to Pakistani Forces because US and Pakistan operation style totally different. NATO/American first use Airforce to clear area the area and after that when some little trash left on the ground the military forces enter that area remember before main ressistance almost finish because of Airstrikes by Airforce. On the other side Pakistan Military forces first use Ground military operation and when Airforce required for close airsupport thn we use our Airforce otherwise our Army doing ground military operation thats why our casualities more then American. BS trained us who dont have gutz to fight with talibans face to face and they will trained us ???? Stupid!

So called WORLD MOST BEST Forces will trained Pakistan forces make me laugh!!
