US presidents have been visiting places like Iraq like that. Unannounced visit is part of that security arrangement. Hence the unannounced. The thing I won't like this is, it puts Pakistan in the same league as of Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan etc. I don't like that.
yeah that's true but that's because Iraq was invaded and occupied by them.....the Green Zone in Baghdad following the invasion and overthrow of Saddam was basically an American city full of military, contractors and a few Iraqis who worked for Americans.
they also CONTROLLED the Iraqi air space, controlled traffic on the ground
therefore arrangements could be made in less amount of time
Its not Obama but U.S $$ which is required in Pak plus it would be a shame for Pakistan to invite Obama while his forces killed Pak soldiers and bomb civilians.
that's why we need to cut ties with india....i think a lot of people here would agree
by the way contrary to popular indian belief, Pakistan isnt bankrupt and economy hasnt collapsed. It's not an issue of money its an issue of agenda.....there's no point in Obama coming here when civilian and military just recently concluded meetings in both US and Pakistan
