What's new

Nuke deal permits Iran to build ballistic missiles!

As I know about 8 million Iranians were died due to famine caused by lack of food made by the occupying force to feed their own soldiers as you mentioned .... creating Savak by CIA and Mosad , capitulations , supporting Saddam , entering in Iran-Iraq war directly in Persian gulf , sanctions can be mentioned too . ...

@Desertfalcon
Sigh...The, "it's all America's fault" game is so infantile, tiresome, and unoriginal. It does not "cut it" with me. If I totalled up the populations of dead that anti-Americans have claimed the CIA and evil American policies killed, we would need several "earths" full of people to come up with that amount. You are intelligent enough to realize that those figures are 90% politically motivated horse manure, yes? Sorry, I don't buy into that anymore than I buy into the idea that the Shah's being in power is solely due to US/British involvement. Yes, we were involved, and thank God we were! You think SAVAK was worse than the twisted, cruel, totalitarian state that runs Iran now!?! All one has to do is Google "Iran, human rights" and it will dissuade you of that notion. I remember when the Shah was overthrown, I remember how the American far 'Left' and naive radical Iranian students talked about how evil he was and how Iran was going to have a government that respected human rights and democracy now. It was all bullsh*t. My family and friends who had lived and worked in Iran told me, "When the Shah goes, the religious extremists will turn back the clock to the dark ages." "The Shah was the most viable progressive, liberal force in Iran." They were right. The "Imams" took over, and the mass killing began. My country began to fill up with the Iranian victims of that new, savage rule, almost immediately. They have a very different opinion of the Shah and his government then you do. And no, they are not all rich elites. They were also religious minorities, intellectuals, artists, women's rights advocates, liberal-democrats, etc. Virtually all of them, only want some sort of real democracy, the rule of laws that are fair and just, and respect for individual rights, just as this exile does...

Speeches | Reza Pahlavi

I would take him and a constitutional monarchy in Iran, over the current "theocracy", anytime!

whatever floats your boat ....
You missed the point , who said all the blame lies with Americans? we were talking about American role in Iran and what they've done to Iran not how Iranian government treats its own people or how it's an angel ...

If this "Reza Pahlavi" and his words had any support amongst Iranian people he would be in Iran not in the US .... what kind of leader he is that enjoys his life far far away and just make statements and speeches every now and then ? statements like "The Shah was the most viable progressive, liberal force in Iran." is this for real? or a joke?

Oh, but Iranians like you are the very ones who keep telling me how Iranians really love Americans and admire principles like human rights and democracy! About how we Westerners have gotten Iranians all wrong! So much for that, I guess...

he would be in Iran not in the US

Sure, why wouldn't he? :o:
