NSA Ajit Doval to go on four-day US tour to discuss on terrorism

USA should rather be discussing the resurgence of hindu Talibans - those fanatics in India who are threatening and killing minorities, talking about r@ping dead women and still getting all the powerful govt posts there.

And also Indian sponsored cross-border terrorism in the region should be the major topic.

But since USA only looks after her own interests and since India being very obedient and renting out her territory to USA, I don't expect anything of sorts will be discussed there....

If this news is true, Iran is not going to be too happy about what that Indian monkey is going to America to do.

It is quite clear, Ajit Devil is going there to seek approval from Americans to let India spread more terrorism via Afghanistan and seek assurances that her sponsored terrorist's a$$ is not whipped in Afghanistan.

After coming back he will run straight to Iran for forgiveness and to bad-mouth America (of course off-the-record). Don't we know these Chanakya aka Ajit Devils by now?

It is nice to see that Modi and his circus are undoing decades of diplomatic work that previous governments have done. In return, India will get be American deputy in South Asia. In other words, a glorified security guard no-one listens to. LOL!

You havent read the article have you? LOL! In denial are you? Doval is going to the USA to ask it to act against Iran. Did you miss that part? This is from the Hindustan Times. LOL! Are you going into denial mode?
Hindustan Times quoting anonymous sources is not a reliable source.

. .
He may look funny but the agenda he is taking to the USA is anything but funny. If this is true, India is going full retard with its foreign policy.

Our foreign policy is pretty balanced. If we can juggle cut-throat enemies and yet manage everyone well, it's good enough.

Doval is concerned about terrorism against India.

Neither he nor any of us give any importance to targeting Pakistani citizens who have nothing to do with terrorists.

.
Dont worry Guys, India will be commiting a Suicide.. one after another as this Joker Doval will be staying here till atleast 2024 who knows 2030 !

Look at his insane Thoughts ( That too, infront of ultra insane Aussies.. ) :

Dont worry, he is not serious.. after all we all know what happened with the surgical strikes ... NOTHING.

South Block sources said Doval will call for the US to enhance its military presence in Afghanistan

The little boy is worried about the scenario when yank military leave Afghanistan. India know they will be reduced back to the rat hole called Panjsher Valley like it used to be back in Taliban days. India is like a monkey riding on elephant tail. Their artificial and sponsored presence on Afghan soil is literally on borrowed time.

.
Just wait until chinese arrive officially.Indians shall not be able to hold up long in afghanistan.its a changezi land.no one is welcomed there

National Security Adviser Ajit Doval will leave for a four-day tour to Washington this week to discuss the stability of the Afghanistan-Pakistan region in the backdrop of a Taliban resurgence and rise of the Islamic State in Nangarhar province as well as to share notes on developments in China and West Asia.

Doval will be away from Tuesday to Sunday, with Thursday and Friday scheduled for official engagements. South Block officials said Doval will meet his US counterpart HR McMaster for the first time as well as defence secretary James Mattis, with a possibility of President Donald Trump dropping by during official meetings at the White House. The NSA’s visit and meeting with his US counterpart were fixed when foreign secretary S Jaishankar visited Washington earlier this month.

After Doval, minister for defence and finance Arun Jaitley is expected to attend the IMF-World Bank spring meetings in Washington from April 21 to 23. US secretary of state Rex Tilerson will be in India for a bilateral strategic and commercial dialogue along with other ministers from the Trump administration.

Dates are being discussed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with President Trump in Washington. Modi will meet Trump at a G20 meeting in Hamburg on July 7-8, after which he will embark on his maiden two-day visit to Israel.

South Block sources said Doval will call for the US to enhance its military presence in Afghanistan, with China, Russia, Pakistan and Iran foreseeing a larger role for the Taliban to take on the rise of the Islamic State. Last month, Afghanistan and India were at odds with the China-led group as both felt the Taliban was detrimental to the stability of the regime in Kabul.

New Delhi feels the Islamic State of Wilayat Khorasan is being propped up by Pakistan and Iran’s agencies to accord credibility to the Taliban. Other West Asian nations are worried about Iran’s role in the region and in Afghanistan, a fact conveyed to Doval by his counterparts during a visit to Kuwait last week.

With both Mattis and McMaster having battlefield experience in the Afghanistan-Pakistan region, Doval will discuss the recent spate of terrorist attacks in the region, with Pakistan’s Punjab emerging as the new theatre of terror. India is worried about Islamabad, with terror groups such as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan taking on the Pakistani Army and hitting at soft targets in Punjab and Sindh.

The role of China in pushing for an economic corridor to the Gwadar port as well as its ever-expanding interests in South Asia, particularly Sri Lanka and Maldives, will also be in sharp focus during the meetings.

US Defence Secretary James Mattis to meet Ajit Doval on March 24: Pentagon
By Press Trust of India | Washington | 21 Mar 2017 04:27

India and the US will discuss a wide range of bilateral security issues and defence ties during National Security Adviser Ajit Doval's visit to the country.

US Defence Secretary James Mattis will meet Doval on March 24, Pentagon Spokesman Capt Jeff Davis told reporters during an off-camera news conference here

They are likely to discuss a wide range of bilateral security issues and those related to the defence relationship.

"Clearly India is a very strong security partner and a force in the region. We continue to have very good relationship with India in the region," Davis said in response to a question.

The Mattis-Doval meeting later this week would be one of the highest-level meetings between the two countries after the Trump Administration came to power on January 20.

Doval is also expected to meet his American counterpart Lt Gen H R McMaster at the White House, the first between the two national security advisors.

Davis said he is not aware of the reasons for Doval's visit to the US, but the Defence Secretary would be meeting with the Indian National Security Advisor on the sidelines of the international meeting of anti-ISIS Coalition being hosted by the US State Department later this week.

Early this month, Indian Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar met McMaster at the White House.

He is also expected to meet his American counterpart Lt. Gen. H R McMaster, the first between the two national security advisers.
National Security Adviser Ajit Doval will visit Washington this week for talks with top Trump administration officials and discuss a wide range of security issues and push forward the defence ties.

Mr. Doval will meet U.S. Defence Secretary James Mattis on March 24, Pentagon spokesman Capt. Jeff Davis told reporters. He is also expected to meet his U.S. counterpart Lt. Gen. H R McMaster, the first between the two national security advisors.

Capt.Davis said he was not aware of the reasons for Mr. Doval’s visit, but added that Mr. Mattis would meet him on the sidelines of an international meeting of the anti-ISIS coalition hosted by the State Department later this week.

The Mattis—Doval meeting would be one of the highest-level meetings between the two countries after Donald Trump assumed the American presidency on January 20.

India’s ties with the U.S. gained momentum towards the end of the Barack Obama administration. At his final Pentagon press briefing in January, then Defence Secretary Ashton Carter said the ties “were on the right path.”

Last year, the U.S. declared India a major defence partner.

The designation, according to a US-India joint statement issued during Mr. Carter’s visit to New Delhi in December, is a status unique to India and institutionalises the progress made to facilitate defence trade and technology-sharing with India to a level at par with the US’ closest allies and partners.

“Clearly India is a very strong security partner and a force in the region. We continue to have very good relationship with India in the region,” Mr. Davis said on Monday.

The US and India last year also signed a bilateral Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Agreement that will give the militaries of the two countries access to each other’s facilities for supplies and repairs. LEMOA is said to be one of the four ‘foundational agreements’ that the US enters into with its defence partners.

Earlier this month, Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar met Mr. McMaster at the White House.
