This is a calculated risk from BJP, there is a possibility that this move to declare Modi as the PM candidate well ahead of the elections may backfire but at the same time they had to do something different this time to prevent Congress from winning again. Advaini is a proven failure and he's just being a sore loser. There is no other leader in BJP of the stature or charisma of AB Vajpayee to win them this election. BJP had no other option but to go with Modi regardless of him being a highly polarizing personality. Hope he wins and takes the country forward.
