The compensation is not peanuts. The money could probably feed millions of Indians
It is still in evaluation process. We will go to court if the money is short of our expectations
We havent supply them anything other than the tender material and time

If you have doubt over the qualtiy of our trains, as Indians usually do with tainted glasses, then it gives you very good reasons for banning us to participate in any tender. You have my absolute support for the ban :cheesy:

As per WTO agreement we cannot ban you just like that, but we are terrified that you guys have submitted your bid and might end up winning it since it will probably be the lowest, but for this project we don't want cheap, we want quality and you are incapable of delivering that.

However, it would be great if you guys can convince your government to withdraw the bid, let Japanese do it, they will be expensive, but quality comes for a price.

Too late. I am sure Abotani was the employee of the month for November. :P j/k

That fellow is a 19 years old kid and knows Hindi, and in all probability a good fit for 'recruitment' by certain elements.

We are not a democracy. However, most of our government's decisions are on the right track. Unlike India.

Our government have channels to obtain popularity viewpoints. But in respect of relative peanut contracts like this prospective one for the Indian HSR, the public is not even interested let alone our top government. There is no way to garner enough public opinions to call for immediate government attentions

If you are a true democracy, which over time and evidences has proven otherwise, you should tell your government to ban our participation by not inviting us for tender on grounds of quality issues :yahoo:

If you know how the business world should be running for a standard procedures of "tenders', the tender documents are to be issued by project owners wherein all the conditions, standards etc are stated, The ball is in your court.

You are completely ignorant on tender procedures and WTO which is silly to link the 2 together.

Uh, just tell me the email addresses of relevant authorities/departments of your government, I will inform them myself along with the link of this thread. Just cooperate instead of crying here................!

And any WTO country has the right to participate in a global open tender, and we didn't invite you, you guys are begging for Indian businesses for quite some time and jumping into any such opportunity.

just google the company's site (which you would invite to tender for) and the name of the government where the company is located

I strongly advise you not to do that as you Indians said we have "quality problems" - Let's stick it to that for a cancellation of co-operaion on this project

I think it is unwise for us to go for any infra projects with India, You should be worry about that for the rest of your lives:yahoo:

Tender is specific to the project owners' directions and preference. Simliar to you tender for LCA, we were not invited for the tender. The project owner has the absolute authority to select whom to submit the tender. So your linking of WTO and tenders are nonsense. Another example is China / Russia have each done some contracts with India before they were a member of WTO. So tenders and WTO are irrelevant. :cheesy:

I have done my part. Dont expect anything more from me. :cheesy:
Why should I give additional info to you for something I strongly oppose ?

OMG, It looks like you people are more eager to have China to tender despite our alleged quality problems. What is wrong with your logic and minds? :dirol:

On this high speed train thing, can't wait to see how 81 Modi is played by the intellectual giants.

.
By the way, can Chinese high speed trains be equipped with 200 or so exterior roof hooks per carage before China bids for India contract ? because that is decisive.

If they think it would be more efficient to do that, then sure.

Rather, we can spend the money on dedicated freight corridors, or upgrade our old lines in important routes to run our own trains at 225 kmph! @anant_s @gslv mk3 what do you think?
I agree.we can have loco hauled/EMU/DEMUs running at 200kmph.This is already underway.

so it is better for India to stick with that overpriced and obsoleted Shinkansen.

Wait a minute,Shinkansen is obsolete ?..May be that's why China license produced them( along with Alstom,Siemens & Bombardier train sets) ? .Even your 'indigenous HSR train sets' are based on ToT from Alstom,Hitachi and many other foreign firms. You're so ungrateful

It's alright. India already has "semi-bullet" trains.

Delhi-Agra semi-high speed train to be named Gatimaan Express : Uttar Pradesh, News - India Today

If you're confused, Indian semi-bullet trains = normal trains to everyone else. But through the ingenious and indigenous Indian invention known as reclassification or "spraying perfume on pile of turds", they can be at the forefront of mass transit. Similar to when Indians in PDF reclassified most of India from "poor people" to "financially challenged." In that way, India, through the stroke of a pen, was able to lift 500 million Indians out of poverty in about 5 minutes. Amazing! Jai Hind!

You are a moron. The so called semi-hsr an reach operational speeds of 200 kmph.
