North Korea: The people losing hope and trust in its Leaders

ah, that well-circulated picture, especially on pdf.

do you really think that there are no lighted roads, bridges, parks, ports and buildings there?? can the darkness be deliberate to a extent?? do people in dprk live in dark houses??

Yes, deliberate, because the country doesn't have enough money to import enough energents to power it all.

Haunting pictures inside North Korea... taken by a photographer who has now been banned from the rogue state for life | Daily Mail Online

Kim Jong-un claims struggle of North Koreans in poverty keeps him up at night - Asia - World - The Independent

come on... the british government did every kind of propaganda ( especially using the youth, especially the females ) to get the scots to say "no" to independence... the british prime minister added to this propaganda... it was a sly campaign, nothing totally left to the scots.

the brit government would lose 30+ billion pounds every year from the oil sale proceeds going to solely to a independent scotland.

Largely irelevant what means of propaganda were used....fact is, try doing it in North Korea and the leadership will expedite you summarily to the artillery firing range for target practice.

Unbelievable...

Yes, there are electricity in North Korea. But no, despite your feeble attempt too put NKR in a positive light, the satellite picture intends to show concentration and intensity of electrical activities as emblematic of continuous progress.

That picture should be well circulated because it speaks the truth: That North Korea is backward compares to South Korea.

You can say that.

Electricity is the foundation of modernity. Not every parts of a country must have it as there are vast mountainous areas of the US that do not have electricity, but where possible, electricity exist. Countries that are rated 'Third World' are so because of comparison to other countries, not necessarily because they do not have electricity. So then this leads to the sophistication of the use of electricity, which then leads up to the fact that the US have far more sophistication of the use of electricity than Bangladesh or North Korea or much of the African continent.

Going back to the North-South Koreas comparison, not only does South Korea have a wider scope of electricity use, South Korea is more sophisticated than North Korea at the exploitation of electricity as well. Show me the latest semiconductor product from North Korea.

How old are you ? Twelve ? Maybe 16 ?
