North Korea: The people losing hope and trust in its Leaders

. .
well, all of the north korea ( barring traitors ) disagrees with your line of thought. :)

by the way, it is the dprk wanting unification and under socialist guidance.

Well, they can suck American popsicle then. :D

I'd rather kill myself and let dogs feed on me than living under the lunatic asylum called North Korea.

.
North Koreans lost hope decades ago......as for trust in their leaders, LOL, idk about trust, but they sure fear the leadership, which in the end gives the same result. A pliant and obediant populace.

lol, id rather get an oiled massage in the beaches of monaco and pay for it in pricy euro than ever have my pale white a$$ set foot on North Korean soil. And i'm being serious, LOL.

But it won't be NATO , but back under our warm and loving embrace. The rays of Peace shall bring modernity for our Korean brethren. :)

:)
Yes, a unified Korea.
Occupation, maybe he's mistaken for Investation

Well i don't know about Korean unification, their economic gap is too wide. West Germany nearly collapsed after absorbing East Germany, costing 2 trillion euros for 20 years. although East German has 3-4% smaller economy than West. Today NK economy is nothing more than 5% of SK.

you can try this way... :)

than living under the lunatic asylum called North Korea.

in that "lunatic asylum", nobody is forced by circumstance to sell their kidney or set their sugarcane field on fire and enter the fire to suicide ( ABP Live - English News, Today’s Latest Breaking News in English, Online English News ).

North Koreans lost hope decades ago

we here and the north korea citizens must of course and absolutely forget, ignore, mock the four million north koreans killed by nato forces in the korea war, 1950-53.

britain should of course remember its war dead every year, but north korea?? naah... the north korean dead are disease bacteria, not worth remembering.

but they sure fear the leadership, which in the end gives the same result. A pliant and obediant populace.

can that be said about many western nations too??

.
Well, that's a good sign. Hopefully we can see a return to how it was when all was in peace and in development for the Korean people, under the calm and prosperity of the rays of peace....

Exactly a united Korea would be a powerhouse

you prefer not to answer to my point??

India is not a true democracy, if you ask me. A major part of the population still votes for a bottle of 'desi tharrha' and chicken legs. But in India, people can afford the audacity to dream. My father, an immigrant from a war torn nation, slept on the streets, worked hard and died a multi millionaire (in USD terms). That's why i love India, and democracy, however flawed it is. Still much better than a dickhead dictatorship.

Try to execute an independence/secession referendum in a NK province, you know, like the one in Scotland.

The Germans -- East and West -- did not have a choice. When East Germany collapsed, where else could East Germans go ? Culturally speaking, they are Germans, despite decades under Soviet rule. They had familial ties in West Germany, not Soviet Russia or anywhere else in the Soviet empire.

So when -- not if -- North Korea begins to show signs of impending collapse, either China steps in and take over, or the collapse will reunite both Koreas into one country again. When North Korea collapse is a given, but what is not a given is China's response. China perceives she needs a Putin-style buffer country, an Asian Ukraine or Georgia, and this perception will gain strength as the signs of that impending collapse increases their prominence. On the other hand, as those signs increases their prominence, US and regional allies will increase their political alliance and military postures and here is where things can get out of hand. China may perceive those actions to be provocative and will act militarily in and against North Korea. That US-led Asian alliance may perceive China's response as militarily provocative and take their own actions on the Korean peninsula.

Bottom line is that China needs North Korea more than South Korea want North Korea. The South Koreans do want a single Korea again but they also learned from Germany's lessons. Things could have gone much worse had the Soviets need East Germany then as much as China need North Korea today. A peaceful unification is what everyone -- except China -- wanted, and the South Koreans are willing to bear the economic pain. The US, Japan, and others in the region will help. Seoul will not stand alone. But it all depends on China's response.

ah, that well-circulated picture, especially on pdf.

do you really think that there are no lighted roads, bridges, parks, ports and buildings there?? can the darkness be deliberate to a extent?? do people in dprk live in dark houses??

come on... the british government did every kind of propaganda ( especially using the youth, especially the females ) to get the scots to say "no" to independence... the british prime minister added to this propaganda... it was a sly campaign, nothing totally left to the scots.

the brit government would lose 30+ billion pounds every year from the oil sale proceeds going to solely to a independent scotland.
