Over 100,000 killed. 13000 women molested. one soldier for every eleven civilians yet they defy curfews, pellet guns and bullets and bury their dead in Pakistani flags.

And FYI, they did rise up but your army general Musharraf betrayed them by crackdowns on Mujahideen camps, funds, assets and leaders.

And revolting in the most heavily militarized region where the occupation forces know no morality and law is easier said than done. That too when Pakistan refuses to support them with safe heavens, weapons, training and funds.

Kashmiris are not united and disorganized. How many Kashmiri households are hoisting Pakistani flags as of now. Making a flag is not that difficult from ordinary clothes. Protests don't achieve anything. Kashmiris have to take things in their own hands. They need to be clever. They need to start organizing just like a parallel government. Make alternate police stations as a first start. In schools replace indian textbooks with Pakistani. Organize a network using simple wifi routers and antennas for uninterrupted communication.

Right now India is in catch 22 situation, having ripped off article 370, crowded IOK with military forces (fearing Mujahideen attacks, bcuz while fighting armed freedom struggles, the crowd of military forces never helps, it turns out more like a burden, history is evident on this), imposed curfew & applied communication blackout, fearing another, even more stronger Intifada by Kashmiris, fearing Pakistan can convert Kashmir into another Vietnam or Afghanistan for India. All these threats are real and present.

India needs time to come out of this mess, created by themselves, and once they did, the Indus water treaty will be the next victim, cuz after abrogation of article 370, India has backed away from UN resolutions, Simla agreement etc. But for this they need some time until at least they feel some sort of control over Kashmiris.

Pakistan, sitting idle, doing nothing except some hollow diplomatic moves will help their cause. They can convince Kashmiris, see don't look towards Pakistan bcuz no help is coming.

Narendra Modi & other BJP leaders at multiple occasions threatened to revoke IWT and these chaps are committed & resolute in their hatred/aims/goals (Watch RSS member's speech in Indian Parliament), that i must give to them. After IWT, they will claim AJK.

We can try to avoid war, can try to hide from it, can close our eyes and assume everything is hunky-dory, its our choice.

But war will come to us, it will be imposed upon us, against our will and at the time and place of enemy's choosing. Better is to choose our own battleground, better is to fight this war at our own terms, when India is at its weakest, better is to fight it at the time and place of our own choosing, time is the key right now, and courage and our will.

History will not remain silent, it never did. It has given us two options, its upon us to decide our fate, our destiny, either we are alive OR we are dead, either We fight for just cause OR sit idle and just turn into history's scrap, what one can call a heap of ashes.

I agree. The Kashmiri people themselves can do tons to frustrate the Indians. It all depends on the will power of Kashmiris. I sense that India is in for a very rough time in the coming months and years.

If India plays the blame game like they did recently, Pakistan needs to finish off Hindustan for once and for all. Break India's neck and throw it like an abandoned piece of crap.
