What's new

Nomination of DG ISI is my authority: PM Imran Khan says in cabinet meeting today

as per many anchors, both IK and COAS were onboard with the transfers, this discussion has been going on for nearly 6 months, it's just that just recently IK was advice by someone in his "inner" circle to delay the transfer and to extend his tenure

wow my man typical pakistani dick move, pointing out typos to make your argument, go eat dust. As far as things are related to the economy it's rekt. Is their anything left which PTI has not ruined ??

PMC: utter diaster
HEC autonomy: Blown
Police reforms: nowhere to be seen
Education reforms: lol
Economy: PMLN and PPP destroyed it for 30 years, sorry can't fix it, but we'll make sure to destroy it further.
Food shortage: Lets export sugar and wheat to enrich certain individuals
Islamisation’ 2.0: Rehmatul lil Alameen authority : put the counrty on religious cocktail. As if zia didn't fuxk us up.
Corruption: PTI is the holy grail, It's corruption free. OMG it's blasphemous to claim pti is corrupt...
Military: Highly politicised. Bajwa is making sure politicians ruin the institution.

I have literally seen nothing positive in these 3 years of governance. So yeah 10 years of PTI will literally ruin us.

And you never will!!

Maryum bajwa will help make pakistan asian lions
Previuously we acheived the titles of asian tigers in 1998 by sucessfully capturing all foreign accounts and eating them up along with "qarz otaro aur mulk sawaroo" and asian leopards in 2018 by sucessfully acheiving target of 2b/month of deficit

Agree sir
They have destroyed education by bringing a single curriculum
We need to have atleast two urdu medium for poors and english medium for rich and O level for foreigner bruger type families like me
Also exports of 8% growth is nothing..anything less then 50% growth is big disaster
My great leadet increased exports from 21b$ to 21000million..that is mashallah almost 900times increase..

Deficit is sure down, but growth is down too, okay growth may be above 5 this year but inflation is high..this high inflation in pakistan has spilled over to neighbouring countries in britain and USA..for god sake i cant even buy eggs any more:mad::mad::mad:
Damn you IK..

Its a sad day for pakistan that so many of pakistani talented anchors are left without their basic needs of dubai shopping and free hajjs..
IK has destroyed a generation of aspiring anchors..who are now no longer looking at this field
These talented anchors will now leave the country for lebanon, zimbabwae and venezuela ..creating a huge brain drain..

who says all revolutions have to be progressive. I envision at least an Iran style revolution for Pakistan, it's well accepted as a revolution and probably wasn't *that* regressive. but all this if things deteriorate, Pakistan and it's Establishment has actually shown unbelievable resilience till now. you are very likely correct.

Please keep in mind that unlike Iranians, we like to pay only lip service to religion, and even that only up to a point. Any religious revolution will trigger internecine warfare along familiar divides.

No Sir, there was no need to proof anything.
The quasi-military-supported-democracy is call of the day. Both sides have to work together. No room for any show off absurdity.
I dont think military did that intentionally, just bad judgement.

LOL. If that is what you believe, I am okay with it.

All of them, except Leghari.

The real point here is that the civil leadership serves at the pleasure of the military, and not the other way around, despite strident (constitutional) claims to the contrary. This is not to say that this is wrong or right, just a recognition of the way it actually is, by design.

as in he'll be able to choose a different DG-ISI? currently it seems your feelings are going be crushed. he'll likely have to sign on to whoever Bajwa chose.
Any such decision is taken on advice but that PMIK has made it known that he is the final arbiter tells us the PM is no stooge as people think. The final decision will be arrived after discussions. This sort of thing happens everywhere only that in Pakistan it recieves publicity from the whole world including your country.

Here is a fact. In every country which have large militaries they carry huge clout and institutional inertia. The best example is USA. The White House for some time had wanted to pull out of Afghanistan - possibly going back to Obama. However the huge pressure of Pentagon and the generals forced Obama to go in the other direction. Thus the fiasco continued and another decade of American treasure and lives were lost for no purpoose at all. If USA had left 24 hours after OBL was killed the decade of waste would have been saved.

Hoswever all those star studded generals at the Pentagon did not want to leave and hubris kept them asking for more soldiers, more money, more time all the while giving excuses for the failure. It was Trump who finally pushed it through and we know the generals resented him - behind the scenes there were almost coup like conditions emerging between Trump and the vast military, pentagon complex.

So if there is disagreements and differances in Pakistan it is no big deal. Pakistan is not North Korea.
