Nobody Wants to talk of peace solutions yet!!!

peacenik79 I tried my bit to bring some peace to this forum when I joined it, but nothing worked. In broader sense I agree with all of your recommendation but there are couple basic problems where the people in two countries differ.

1) Kashmir - India think they are a part of India and Pakistan think they are not Indians. Mainly this problem is based on fact most Kashmiris are Muslims, but in India we believe Muslim are as much part of India as Hindus are. I am not saying there is no problems amongst Hindu or Muslim and their behavior towards each other is always good.

2) Muslims in India - Pakistan thinks anything against Muslims in India is their problem but India believes it is India's problem. Dont look at people on basis of religion. India is relatively young country and is working on all these problems.

peacenik I don't know whether there will be peace between India and Pakistan but I don't think there will be peace between Indians and Pakistani on this forum. Fortunately atleast leaders of both countries are more smarter than people here.

Makes sense there will not be peace on this forum. It is a military forum after all. I also hope and believe that leaders of both countries are smarter than people on this forum. Anyways Ive made my point and will now move on to more important things like...... work?

You guys are way too sceptical and scepticism if it is widespread can become a self fulfillng prophecy.

And I do not agree with the theory that India des not want the existence of Pakistan. In the current scenario, they cannot do anything about it anyway even if they wanted to because of nuclear weapons and because international community would not allow that to happen.

Why would my plan not work, if the willingness is there from the leaders on both sides?

Do you have a more realistic workable solution for peace, something which would be acceptable to both India and Pakistan.

Yes, I have, from the Eastern front, your ideas are "utupian", since you are sitting at Canada. Think about our country we donnot have any problem with India but still every alternate day BSF are killing the innocent Bengalee people at the border areas. Now, once we complain to Indian High Commissioner, in a broad day at the Dhaka city he says, "Look, you know we have curfew at the border areas at night and we have a shoot at sight order, so better donnot cross the border", what an oddacity of a diplomate ?

They are like the politcal "Gundas and Mustans", you donnot believe it ! better believe it and be happy at Ottawa.

Look at Bosnia. I was told that Bosnian leaders started integrating so much with the other leaders that they let their guard down. What did they get?

That is quite biased. What happened to our princely states?

As long as the Army has the country as opposed to the opposite and moreover this Army is India centric and promotes /needs a security state scenario and its self appointed saviour there will be no peace between India.

The biggest tragedy here is that in order to keep the scenarios which prevails one or the Army needs $$$$$ instead of this going to the betterment of the country this goes to the landlord of the nation. So as long this assumed enemy on the door step is not stopped nothing happens which isnt good for Pakistan's own people.

Yes! We don't wanna nukes cuz its not less than crime against humanity...its the last option in order to save lives of our nation..Thats why we build tactical Nukes so that civilians don't get harmed in anyway......
