We have seen enough since 9/11. There is a general realization in Pakistan that whatever Pakistan will do, it will not satisfy the American and western demands as their purpose of stay in Afghanistan is not terrorism but to defang Pakistan off its nukes (a wishful thinking) and destroy it from within (they have been trying it for years). We dont need anyone support over Kashmir or India. We are and will deal on our own, whatever you hear is just the diplomatic talk.

One the other hand, India is making a fatal mistake by putting faith in America, a distant power, and making conflict on its behalf with other regional powers like Pakistan and China. India is going to get bruised very badly thinking it can become a regional policeman of America.

From my read about CPEC is that China wants to use it to access gulf states in middle east, not central Asia. The route to central Asia is via Tajikistan and Kazakhstan. I believe the route via Tajikistan is also open to Pakistan.
